Nuggets have a whole list of to-do's if they're to beat Lakers

For instance, Denver needs to figure out a way to defend Kobe Bryant, raise its shooting percentage, push the pace and, for a change, not fall far behind the Lakers early in the game.

George Karl keeps talking about the wild-card players and wild card moments needed to beat the Lakers.

Two games into the first-round playoff series involving the veteran coach's Denver Nuggets, one gets the impression it might take a royal flush for them to win a game.

The Nuggets addressed many of their opening-game deficiencies in Game 2 on Tuesday … and still lost.[....]

No problem. You might want to check your calendar though Wink The game is tomorrow night.

Some members like to have pre-game discussions leading up to the game without having separate little threads all over the place about it. And some people are just more into it than others. It is the PLAYOFFS after all, so we try to give them that opportunity if they want it. No one has to post anything at all, but it's there if they want it.

Lakers need this win and if this team is really championship caliber like Kobe say; then the lakers win this game. If they lose then they not for real like most of us already think.

I think this will be the toughest game to get on the road vs. Denver, but if we do, I think the brooms are in order too! I expect the Nuggets to carry over some momentum from their game #2 showing in LA though.

The Metta suspension's made this one of the stranger Lakers postseason. I can't recall a previous instance where things get better for the Lakers whether they win or lose.

It is pretty odd. No one wants to lose, but it's not gonna break any hearts if we lose a game here and there because of the suspension circumstance.

I think we're gonna get Denver's best shot tonight. It will be interesting to see how hard the Lakers go after it.

yep. I've always wondered why they don't list the true tipoff time. I guess it's just the nature of television. They want you tuned in ASAP.

Expect the opposite of what George Karl says publicly...and if the Lakers play it right, he's screwed one way or the other!

The 4-5 PnR Gasol & Bynum were running late Game 2 is nearly unstoppable if they try to focus on doubling Bynum. Hopefully they've perfected it and go to it often tonight.
