 DJ Mbenga was in attendance at last Friday's game against the Suns and was seen at the Lakers practice facility over the weekend. Now it is being reported that the Lakers will sign him to a 10 day contract. If he works out well he could be signed for the rest of the season. If he is only of marginal help, they will sign him to a couple of 10 day contracts until Mihm, and Vladrad return. They could then turn their attention to a back up swing man to cover for Ariza who is now reportedly out for 8 weeks. There are a couple of great ones on the Los Angeles DeFenders and we will start lookng at those possibilities when the time arises. JamFan
