The moment has come and the draft is less then an hour away. The front office's phone are hopefully busy and hopefully Mitch can make something happen. Jim Gray of ESPN reported the Lakers phones are very quiet trade wise. No deals are on the table. None what so ever. Not even the Head/Cook deal. The draft is still a while away but can Mitch really do something worth while. Laker fans have waited almost 3 years for "the" move to return this team to Showtime. Is KG that piece? Who knows but PHX is the leading candidate now. Nothing but rumors up to this point. Wether it's JO,KG, or even a small deal such as the Luther Head deal. To even unload Cook's salary....but no. So much excitement but over what? At this point nothing. Let's hope Mitch doesn't dissapoint yet again. It's up to Mitch and Dr.Buss to once again make us an elite franchise. Cross your fingers laker fans.
