The importance of this game: Our lakers are 23-11 and the Spurs are 23-10 if the spurs lose tonight, that means we will have the same record as them.
NOT!!
if they lose then that means we will have a better record than them because the spurs have a 16-9 in the western conference and the lakers have 15-5 so the Lakers will oficcialy have a better record than the spurs
The 2nd game of the doubleheader is Suns vs Jazz, the Suns have a 25-10 record and we have 23-11, if the suns loses @ utah tonight they will have just a 2 game lead in the win column and we would have the same L.
Let's cheer for these 2 teams to fall tonight!

| I think Detroit will bounce back and knock off the Spurs. The Jazz are really tough at home so I think they will knock off the ailing Suns. Things are looking brighter at the top of the West all the time. |

I heard that the Spurs big 3 are suppose to play...Nash & Hill are out...let's see if Utah has what it takes to beat a Suns team without their little engine...
I hope Detroit bounces back and gets a win here...it's hard to see Detroit lose three straight games...so let's see what they can do here...remember, they had a tough three game schedule recently...Boston, Dallas, & now the Spurs...come on Detroit... |

| The Spurs are banged up. Duncan, Ginobili and Barry are all hurting. It is a long season and they are not a young team. They will still be the team to beat when playoff time rolls around. |

| If Spurs lose tonight, Dallas will be in Second place, Spurs drop down to 5th, Lakers will take Third place. If suns lose tonight, we'll still be two wins behind them, and the suns will remain in first place. Optiminally it would take another 4 - 5 games to get passed the suns and be division leader, if everything goes the Lakers way. |
