If we wait the season out and not move anybody this season will it be wiser than trading for a superstar and dishing out the team.
The big free-agents:
1. Marion
2. J. Oneal
3. Arenas
4. Igudola
5. Brand
6. Magette
Will signing one or two of these free agents make us better then trading for T-Mac, J Kidd, or J. Oneal Now? |

| The only ones that are within the realm of possiblity are Maggette, JO, and possibly Artest. This is all banking on them opting out of their contrcts (Maggette and Artest should be a lock for that) and also if they would accept MLE money. You can count restricted FAs out. They held out this past summer to get a bigger paycheck next summer and those teams will match anything we offer easily. |

That is right.Iknow alot of people want the big names(I do too)but we cant offer them the money they are looking for.I think if we are looking for a starter Artest is the man.(I really dont feel he would like coming off the bench)Maggette would really help the second unit. Our second unit would be stronger then alot of teams first unit.Phil could go small and run most teams in the ground. Then he could start him some nights a.lso |

Doesn't Kwame's contract help us out with signing one of the above.
I like the idea of Brand, and he could come somewhat cheap with the recent injuries and stuff. I think he would like to stay in La , but for a real team, no? |
