Possibilities start when teams make their players available and wanting specific players in return. That more or less gives you an idea if you can make something happen. SHANE BATTIER. I just read he is offered in exchange for Rashard Lewis or Wilcox.
In light of Houston's coaching change and realization that defense wins game but is BORING, they decide to hire Rick Adelman who is a complete opposite of JVG's style. JVG's teams bore you to death with scores ranging from 80-86 per game (not all though but most of them). While Adelman goes for the 110s as he has done in the past with Portland and Sacramento.
This style of play suits TMAC and his offensive ways. But I certainly question his durability in playing the running offense. It will break Yao's back too. Shane Battier is someone I covet. Mark my words, he is the future Bruce Bowen less the antics. And he looks much like Fernando Sucre.
He has an upcoming salary of 5.88M. It is fairly easy to acquire but we must part with a quality guy for Houston. Remember they will not be the same team at all next year. If we improve a lot this summer, we could be the Wests #4-5 team.
The best my mind could offer me is a straight up trade for Luke Walton. Sign-and-trade Walton with the same salary range and perhaps add the #48 pick.
Then we use Kwame, Sasha and the #40 to get Camby and JR Smith. (I know George Karl hates the guy)
Perhaps we can swap Vlade Radman with Juwan Howard. But I still like Nazr Mohammed and Flip Murray better. Or Mike James might be ok.
Then we can do the numbers game with JO - Lamar, Bynum and Cook.
Farmar / Eddie Jones (MLE 1.5M) ala Ron Harper
Kobe / JR Smith / #19 Derrick Byars
Battier / Evans /
JO / Juwan Howard / Turiaf
Camby / Mihm /
Oh and to make it a little more controversial, I like Battier better than Ron Artest. He can be your Rick Fox 2nd coming. |

| Why do Lakers need Eddie Jones? He is just a waist of money. |

| like i said before on here. eddie jones is nothing but a friggin jinx! i dont want him anywhere near our team. he was never a big game performer, instead he used to hide behind kobe and nick at nite during crunch time. we couldnt win a title with him so we traded him for rice and we won a title the following year. he goes to miami and with snaq on the team, they lose to detroit in the conference finals. they trade him away and they win a title the following year. look what happened this year. they brought him back and they get swept out of the first round! i want nothing to do with that jinx. |

| exactly shark. hopefully eddie goes to phx, that would kill any chances of them winning a title in the near future. |
