| although this idea has been played with a lot, ... AND THERE IS AN OFFICIAL TRADE IDEAS TOPIC, .... it just amazes how people can make trades even more complicated be adding a third team even though this trade works without Minnesotas involvement, besides McHale would never help us!!!! |

| Green doesnt play in Minnesota and they need a young pg, javaris would play great in minnesota with a young team, Memphis does not need a pg so Green would fit them best in their rebuilding process |

Memphis, can trade critt always after the initial trade, besides damon Stoudamire is 34 years old and declining, why not let two young guys share the pg spot, besides critt can always play the sg position too!
But plz forget Minnesota, McHale will not help us in anyway to land us Gasol, he's an ex Celtic, why do you think did he send KG to Boston instead to another team, and I'm sure the Celtics offer wasn't the best of all those teams who were trying to get him |

| Why don't we try to get Green...it's pretty obvious he doesn't like it there and i'm pretty sure that he can pick up alot from Kobe...they are kinda similar too...both straight out of high school...have both won the dunk contest...and i'm bet Green wouldn't mind getting back at the Celtics in one of the biggest rivalries in NBA history...Lakers vs Celtics... |

| We already have Gasol's little brother who will likely join the team next year. Look to the future and trade only for youth. |

Whatever happened to that thread called "The Official Trade Ideas Thread"? Weird...
I do not see any point in making trades more difficult than what they already are. If we want Gasol we can get him straight up in a two team deal. McHale does not like the Lakers, he's a poor GM, and he'd never help us.
While I like the idea of Green being on the team, we might as well make that a two team deal as well. |
