Kwame Brown, who missed his 12th straight game with a sprained left knee and ankle, will accompany the Lakers when they leave Monday for a four-game, week-long trip.
"I made a decision to take Kwame along on this road trip today," Jackson said. "That's the biggest decision. I don't know if he'll be able to play, but we think that he could." |

although Bynum stepped up his defense this season and doesn't get into foul trouble, Kwames interior defense is till better than his!
we need him back asap |

| Brown's injuries are getting really annoying. We watch Kobe fall in Denver and nearly seperate his shoulder, goes out for 5 minutes, and comes back and finishes off the Nuggets. hasn't missed 1 game because of it. I bet if that was Kwame, dude would have gone on the IL for 15 games. He's like a lil...."bctih" |

but you can't compare a shoulder to an ankle and knee injury, I know Kobe also played with sprained ankles but afterwards he still missed games, besides how is he gonna help us if he can't get up and down the floor in time? |

I just Kwame to be 100 percent healthy.....
This guy can help us in the defense end...He is strong, he can block and most importantly is is great in the pick and rolls....
Also, I want him 100% BECAUSE I DONT WANT HIM TO GET INJURE AGAIN
Then the bench Mob can work like crazy haveing BYnum and Farmar together agains
We need Kwame in the road because we are going to play some hard games...
Records dont matter if ur in the road and ur a young team |

| Yeah! I can hardly wait for Kwamme to get back. The Lakers are much better team with the three centers available for any situation. Kwamme is good when we need a tough defender in the paint. Bynum is good rebounder and is proving out to be a good offensive player. He needs to add a few more pounds, but that will come with maturity. Mihms is more of a finesse player, he has a small hook shoot that looks pretty good when he hits it and is a good third option when the other two centers get in foul trouble. He is real weak on defense though. |

| honestly right now is the perfect time for kwame to sit out, if he is hurt let him fully heal before late in the season, the last thing we need is for him to play injured and become further injured just before playoffs, if kwame is a big part of our team i think that it is important for him to get WELL as fast as possible, once he is FULLY through with rehab he should rejoin the team... we are doing ok without kwame and we will need him against post players in the playoffs... also ankle injuries are much more difficult for big guys cause they put more weight on their ankles... kwame doesn't need to take his time but he shouldn't come back untill doctors say he is totally ready |

| i agree.its good they said it takes 6weeks to heal and they are giving him the ability to not worry about rushing it and he will probly be back to play on our road trip pj said so its good.the one gm we really missed him was that boston gm other than that we didnt have much to worry. |

We will be playing against the Celtics again this month, 30th Dec. It would make my season if the Lakers could pound that team to the ground. I hate the Celtics and I hate the Mavericks.
So I hope Kwamme is back for the Celtic game if he would have made a difference, but honestly I don't think we lost because of Kwamme not being there. The Laker team just didn't play good. Not a single player played any defense against the guards of the Celtics. It pissed me off! |

I don't want Kwame to come back until he is completely healed. An ankle and knee injury are bad. It takes a long, long time to be 100%. I doubt that they will really give Kwame enough time to heal properly.
I say don't rush back because if Kwame can't move quickly and defend like before the injury then we lose the one great thing that he brings - DEFENSE. If his knee and ankle are off then he can't move on D. Let him take the time to come back strong. Our record is nice right now - I think it would have been better if Kwame and Ronny didn't get hurt early on, but 13-8 is really good.
I hope we can get 14-8 after tonight against the Warriors. |
