| I think the Lakers can beat anybody on any night, the only negative thing is their inconcistency. If they can find a way to be good every night I think they have to be considered as condenders. |

The nba.com rankings had us 7th and the Spurs 1st. This one shows us in 6th. I think this is a great sign and that the Lakers are turning some heads in the NBA.
If we continue to grow at this pace and become even more defensive minded, I believe we will be a team others don't want to met in the playoffs.
We play nice defense now in stretches, we shot a nice team percentage at the line (this is remarkable after the last couple of years), we are rebounding very well in the league, we are holding our opponents typically to a fairly low percentage (defense again), we have an excellent bench this year. We have a lot of offensive firepower from many different sources. We have beaten some very quality teams this year already.
Let's get healthy and continue to grow. If we stay healthy I don't see why a 50+ win season is not on our horizon. |

wat are u talkin bout they are updated cuz it says phx cant play D after letting minny and miami to score on them,band last i checked that was yesterday and last weekend,so chek it b4 u start complaining for no reason. |

the rankings are updated every tuesday, i believe. or was it thursday. one or the other.
not after every game. |

| You really don't want to pay attention to anything by Hollinger, he's just a stats nerd and gets all his rankings by crunching stats, it usually ends up being useless. |

| i prefer the NBA rankings they are a better depiction of a teams progress because it isnt all based on stats. |

Actually it has the Lakers record listed at 12-8. This is updated every day at midnight and is based solely on team statistics. |

| thats weird, cos when i clicked on the link yesterday it showed lakers at number 2, under boston with the record of 7-3.. i clicked it now and its updated with them sitting at 7th.. i aint delusional guys, hahaha, but ya it was at 7-3 yesterday, freal! |
