The Lakers also include a 1st round pick for both deals.
Get Camby. We can definatly use him. Among the league leaders in rebounds and blocks, and is a great team defender. A vet who will be great for us. Can start at C and allow Bynum to come off the bench, or can start alongside Bynum in our frontline.

We add Haslem, Zo, and Cook. Haslem becomes a legit starting PF for our team. He's a tough guy who plays hard and will compliment our team very well. Zo is a great veteran leader who wil be able to teach the young Bynum the tricks of the trade. He is a tenacious warrior with a lot of fire and it can rubb off on our young guys. Even though he won't make huge contributions during games, his impact will be made once our guys grow from puppy's to pit bulls. Finally, Cook is a good young rookie SG who can backup Kobe whenever Sasha struggles. |

| The only reason Zo returned is because he thought the heat were still contenders, he wouldn't come to LA, he would rather be bought out and retire. |

| i like #2. haslem secures our PF spot finally, and zo replaces kwame as our interior toughness. plus, cook adds ONE MORE 3 shooter to our arsenal. i'd be sad to see critt go, but we'd still have farmar. |

UNREALISTIC AGAIN POPPIN'!
Neither of these could ever happen in the real world- 1st one with Camby and Najera leaving the Nuggets, what big man does that leave them with? Kleiza? Nene's hurt and basically the Nets give up Kidd for J.Critt- an unproven rookie, and 2 expiring contracts? That doesn't help them.
The second one- The Heat give up 4 players to get Kidd when they're already strapped from Shaq's huge contract? They're giving up 2 of their best players in Cook and Haslem and Zo and expiring contract of J. Will? get real. And again the Nets get Critt and expiring.
I've said it before and i'll say it again- BE MORE REALISTIC- I just don't understand your trade ideas- if the title were something like---- Poppintags fairy tales to make you sleep better-then I'd understand why you keep posting this crap.
And lastly does J.Kidd even really want to be traded? Probably not- so if your going to waste your time dreaming of players to get, Why not D. Howard? Tim Duncan? Yao Ming? LBJ?
The point is this will be the last time I comment on this subject so u don't have to worry- keep tellin' stories! |

| It's actually very realistic. Just because you 2 don't have any creativity or vision to come up with these deals doesn't mean it's unrealistic. Hey, bmex, your not even relevant to this site. I don't think anyone cares for your opinion here. |

Melo is in the frontcourt, not backcourt, FYI. |

1) denver would never want to trade with us,and three way trades are so unlikely
2)we will never trade with miami and its a three way trade so its not going to happen |

I guess I'll just cry myself to sleep because this basketball genius doesn't think I matter!WHY LORD WHY ! Can't I be more like him? Why can't I daydream all day with a video game mentality? SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHY? can't I be such a visionary and have "creativity" to put together 6 team trade ideas that give all the good players to my team and screw everyone else?
Seriously- I know you can't take criticism and maybe u don't care what I think, but I don't live for this so I don't really care what u think. Obviously this is all you have in your life and really I should think twice before crushing your infant ideas. Let me guess - are you gonna give me a negative rep just because I disagree with your ideas like you have in the past with others?
Like I said before - I won't even read ur ideas anymore so you don't have to worry. |

| Well, you seem to know the game of basketball not just by the viewers standpoint but because you were also a player, not not just the pickup games kind. Whats your basketball history? |

Vinny,
Im a lot older than most people hear i imagaine. Im 51. I was hurt in a auto accident when i was 21. I played 28 seasons of wheelchair ball for various teams. I was part of a team that won 8 national championships in 11 years and we were actually an answer to one of the questions in the original trivial persuit game as the sports team with the most consecutive victories (98 over 2 and a half years).
I was fortunate enough to be invited to, tryout, and play for the USA on many international games throughout the world. Got to travel to many countries and see the game from many perspectives not just the athelitic aspect. I played in the paralympic games in Atlanta in 96 were we even got to visit the white house and meet clinton. Sadly, we chocked our semi final game and only came home with the bronze, but it was a great experience anyway. To travel through the tunnel at the opening cerimonies to the cheers if USA! USA! by 80,000 was really a thrill.
I love the game of basketball, i am an ardent Laker fan, I held season tix for over 2O years, have been fortunate enough to be able to meet most the lakers and their organization along the way.
If i had to answer what i took most away from the game, it would be friendships all over the world, and the knowledge that a team of good players that respect each other, work hard, and follow the gameplan, will most often, not always, but most often come out on top. Even if they are playing a squad of superstars. It's all about the teamwork!!!
That is why you will see the majority of my posts lean towards the conservative side. Teams need to find an idenity and players need to gel. Even non blockbuster trades (cook&evans) take a toll and time is required to get back in unison. I think we witnessed it. I like our squad and I simply think we need a tough guy PF and we are set. I am all for waiting for that opportunity to arise instead of tossing 1/3 of our team away for any superstar that just happens to become available regardless of position. But hey, thats just my opinion.... |
