The Lakers DOMINATED the Spurs throughout the game and answered people that doubted them like me. anyways, HOW ABOUT KOBE WITH 34 points right after a missed game!! Bruce Bowen, NO PROBLEM. Overall, I was really impressed. Great sign for the Lakers Smile Smile Smile

i know this year's team is good.. but seveal factors come into the equation,

we have been home-game heavy, young roster, and therefore a lot of inconsistency.

but i m still enjoying the team tho, see them grow, and find their place on this team. i know they are a playoff team this year, no doubt, but i also do not think that they are as good as their record is showing now.

and another note, i don't think the DOMINATED the spurs tonight. they play good stretches and bad stretches... it is real nice to see they got it going at the third quarter, but hella scare me when they got their lead cut down to three in the 4th. again, young team, the inconsistency factor come in...

i do think it is a good win tho, and good experience for some of the young guys, learning HOW to win games are important in building a GREAT team, all these games in between are just part of the process.

i think you are making the Lakers sound like they arent that very good of a team sustudio. i dont think you are really giving the Lakeers any credit. Yeah, they had a hell of a lot of home games, but they were defintely not inconsistent. They won most of the games they needed to win. And losses to those crappy teams, NO PROBLEM... ,the Lakers Franchise has ALWAYS had problems with them, probably because they come out overconfident and not in focus or acting serious. But still, no offense to you, but i thimnk the Lakers are playing AWSOMe, and this beggining homestand gave the players more confidence so they can do better on the road.

i think we are gonna have a rough road trip pretty soon where the team might lose like four or five in a row because of our age and since we'll have long road trips coming up. tonights win was a good one, i wouldnt say we dominated...at times during the game maybe, but not the game in its entirety. yes we have a home heavy start to the season but a win is still a win, remember that.

the clippers are gonna get spanked by the spurs, especially coming off the loss that we gave them. the poor clipper nation will have one more thing to cry about soon.

Well, this week is probably the toughest we have this year, (Sunday vs Spurs, 2 games against Housten and one on the road against Dallas) and the Lakers already won the first game. so let's see how it stands at the end of the week, for now the Lakers are 1-0

I wrote earlier in the season that I felt this team had the potential of becoming one of the best Lakers teams ever. Not the best, but one of the best. I still believe that and feel this team is going deep into the playoffs if everyone stays healthy. The only problem this team has is finding minutes for all the talent on this squad.

serious is right the rotation has to have a balance but i think we should fix it up according to the teams we play instead of a set starting lineup that way teams won't know what to expect the practice for kwame but instead we start bynum and vice versa for all the the players but just a thought

that is what i mean when i was talking inconsistency...

and don't get me wrong.. i feel that we are a good team, and i think we will make hella noise in the playoff (since they will be focus and serious when playing in big games), but they just need to find better consistency so that we can seed higher (remember last year? just imagine if we had home court playing the suns!!) and have home court in the playoff...that IS CRITICAL!!!!

sorry for getting ahead of ourselves here... talking about playoff, but that is how much confidence on this team THIS YEAR, i think they will make some noise in the playoff...
