Which player do you want most in return for Lamar Odom?
I personally want Shawn Marion. I think he is the best option out of everyone. Not a nutcase like Artest. Not an injury magnet like JO. Not a boring softie like Gasol. Much better scorer then AK-47. Much better defender then Randolph. Who else am I missing? Marion is the BEST option for Odom.

| It has to be Marion because, overall, he is the best player out of all of them. He is a legit second option, his defense is great, and he is a great rebounder. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind getting any of them for Odom, but my first choice has to be Marion. |

i like marion; i can't believe we didn't ship out odom for marion this past summer.
the biggest argument against marion is that he can't play without steve nash feeding him.
i'm pretty sure he was playing pretty damn good and putting up better numbers than odom when nash was out; even then, at least he has a consistent 3 pointer. he cuts to the basket off the ball, and he's not afraid to throw it down. odom seemed so timid this past game against the celtics; it was pretty bad. especially after all his big talk about how he's letting the team down. you're not just letting down the team; you're letting down the fans who've had your back here in LA. give us a reason and we'll all shave stars on the backs of our heads. lol.
and where's josh smith on this list? he's a great defensive presence and he can put up big numbers too. he's also young. |

AK-47: Ugliest guy in the NBA
JO: Injury Prone
Artest: Always getting arrested
Randolph: Not as good in the catch and shoot. |

| I'll take Randolph, simply because he is a post presence, and we are very weak in that department. The only post presence we really have is Bynum. I mean everyone knows that mihm flat out sucks. Initially I chose Marion, but I'm not so sure if he would do well in the triangle. He seems to do better in a run n gun offense. Randolph would be a good fit, a guy besides Kobe who we could throw the ball to in the post in crunch time, and wouldn't be afraid to take a big shot, unlike Odom. Yea, his defense isn't so good, but let's face it, the whole lakers team, not just one player, has to work on their defense. But I'm pretty much open to anybody, either AK, Randolph, Artest, or Marion. I would not take JO, because simply put, he is done. I mean the guy's getting his jumpshots blocked. His jumpshots! And all that for 19 million a year. I think I'll pass. |

I probably would. I always liked that Brad Miller is consistent from the free throw line extended. Rony is probably our best big to start taking those shots, but Miller would thrive in the triangle. He is an excellent passer. His biggest weakness is he has always been slow against more agile athletic bigs.
Artest would appease Kobe, and if he stays clean could make us the best defensive team in the league in my oppinion. |
