    Following an MRI exam Monday, it has been determined that Nets guard Vince Carter has a Grade 1 sprain of the right ankle, Nets President Rod Thorn announced.

    Carter will continue to receive treatment on the ankle and there is no timetable for his return. The injury occurred in the third quarter of the Nets 112-101 loss to the Boston Celtics on November 10.
