What are your predictions, comments, and thoughts about this game? Will Kobe play hard with this team unlike his preseason games? We he encourage the young guys or try to hog the ball? Will he be able to play at all with his wrist injury?

Guys, this team is really good...
I think when they play with Kobe they fell intimidated or scare to shoot the ball....

IT is up to kobe to bring the chemistry back between them and be a really good teamate after all the drama that is going on....

    IF KOBE BELIEVES
The Team Will be a Suprise in the west...

    Against Houston:

    Fisher
    Kobe
    Luke
    Turiaf
    Kwame or bynum????

Kwame is a better defender than Bynum...and bynum is a better offensive player than Kwame....

I SAY WE PUT BYNUM BECAUSE I BELIEVE THIS KID WILL BRING HIS GAME THAT NIGHT AND WILL PROVE EVERYBODY WRONG....

EVERYTIME I SEE BYNUM, I FEEL THAT HE WANTS TO EXPLODE AND GO CRAZY AND DOMINATE...BUT HE IS HOLDING BACK

THE TIME WILL COME AGAINST HOUSTON AND WE WILL TRUELY SEE WHAT BYNUM IS REALLY MADE OFF

    GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If kobe becomes a leader that night and a great teamate and fits in
    We will Win

Toss up but I think the Lakers will win by maybe 5 or 6.

On nba.com in the news they say "Kobe is expected to play in opener", but i think that is what PJ said on friday or thursday last week. But i think KB will play, for sure he will.

The reason I asked if Kobe will play is that the Lakers will not be able to win against the Rockets without Kobe. The Lakers need at least 16-18 points from Kobe to defeat the Rockets who are a far better team than Sacramento.

I wish you will be right laker15 but I don't know if Bynum is able to dominate Ming yet. Remember Ming is not an average center

Yao is one of the best centers of the league
To beat Yao, the lakers need to run more and get Yao tire....
Then yao shots will be off and andrew can work on Yao on the offensive end

If kobe stops Tracy and locks him down....We will win this game....KObe only needs to score when we need him...NOt forcing any shots

I believe we are stronger than the Rockets and kobe can destroy Tracy

We have Bynum and Kwame...People that can swicth back and forth , bothering yao more....

The rockets are not a offensive team....They cant score that much.....IF we lock on only tracy or yao...we will win this game

    Fisher
    Kobe
    Luke
    Turiaf
    Kwame or bynum
I think kwame will start because he plays better defense
and trust me, no plays will be done for kwame in the offensive end...when yao is kinda tire, then bynum will come out and dominate mutombo(cause he is old) and Yao, cause yao is tire from kwame

We have a very good team./

I think if our shooters can shoot the ball well this game...

    We will win

    Lakers win 106-99

the game is almost here. it looks like kwame will be our starting center for now. i am assuming that fish will also start with vlad at the three, turiaf at the four, and of course the kobster at sg.

Wow Kwame is our starter? He's going to get owned by Yao. I would rather start Bynum.

I expect this to be our starting line-up:

    PG: Derek Fisher
    SG: Kobe Bryant
    SF: Luke Walton
    PF: Ronnie Turiaf
    C: Kwame Brown

As for the Rockets, I expect to see:

    PG: Rafer Alston
    SG: Tracy McGrady
    SF: Shane Battier
    PF: Luis Scola
    C: Yao Ming

phil already said that kwame will be our starter and im assuming that vlad and turiaf will also start since they started most of the preseason games. phil has been talking about starting turiaf since the beginning of training camp.
