Our Draft had just concluded and here is my lineup:
PG - Gilbert Arenas (pts, asts, stls, 3s)
SG - Leandro Barbosa (pts, asts, stls, 3s)
G - Raymond Felton (pts, asts, stls)
GF - Al Harrington (pts, rebs, blks)
SF - Gerald Wallace (pts, rebs, stls, blks)
PF - Jermaine Oneal (pts, rebs, blks)
F - Al Jefferson (pts, rebs, blks)
FC - Andrew Bynum (pts, rebs, blks)
C - Shaquille Oneal (pts, rebs, blks)
UTL - Rudy Gay (pts, rebs, stls)
Bench:
Grant Hill (pts, asts)
Peja Stojakovic (pts, 3s)
Quentin Richardson (pts, 3s)
Al Thornton (my sleeper)
Paul Millsap (my sleeper)
Since we are playing the Rotisserie Scoring System, the most balanced team wins... |

Dave, you got a lot of enviable picks, KG being atop your list and Ray Ray and VC on the wings... Im surprised you didn't pick Paul Pierce but heck, VC is better...
You also have Okafor and Brad at C, with KG, that will take care of the rebounds. I think your team will always be top 3 in scoring and rebounding.
As for mine, my draft strategy was to win the "other" slots usually not concentrated by most teams...
Al Jeff and JO for the rebounds, Gerald Wallace and JO takes care of the blocks for me, Wallace and Arenas for the Steals, Arenas and Barbosa for the threes (with Q Rich and Peja Stojakovic too) but my scoring takes a hit if Arenas experiences off nights. I think Gil Zero will be the top fantasy player this year since he is fully healthy and this being a "contract year" for him. |

Yeah, its a gamble I made Cool, since I projected plenty of SGs available. I can also trade some of my players for an SG although no one will really compare to Kobe.
As early as now, I predict Arenas to win the scoring title, if not, finish 2nd to Kobe. |

These are the "reaches" I did:
On the 1st rd, I had the chance to pick anyone except KG - I picked Arenas. Scoring, 3-balls, assists, steals.
Round 2, I was surprised to have landed on Al Jefferson. Always pleasant.
Round 3, right after Vince Carter and Ray Allen were picked, I chose between Redd for pts and threes, Deron Williams for assists and Gerald Wallace. I ended up picking Gerald since my core of Arenas-Jefferson-Wallace is now locked in the pts, rebs and steals categories.
Round 4 and once more, I landed on Jermaine Oneal. Why not? Now my blocks category is sealed. JO and Wallace make up for the biggest blockers in the NBA aside from Josh Smith.
Round 5 and I was searching for an SG that I could have gotten 2 rounds earlier, I decided to solidify my 3-ball and steals by picking Barbosa.
Round 6, I saw Ray Felton on the board and grabbed him. I needed a 2nd PG anyway to secure that I will be decent in the assists category, and further strengthening my steals and percentages.
Shortly after, in Round 7, I saw and picked Al Harrington on the board since he plays 3 natural positions in his eligibility. SF, PF and C - so I can place him in just about any position aside from PG, SG, G. Versatile is good.
Round 8 and I was rounding up my roster. I still needed some scoring but I decided to take a gamble on Bynum. He will be my 3rd center already, and a very tradeable asset if he breaks out. If he plays consistently like Yesterday, I'm in for a BIG surprise. 19pts 10rebs 1blk is no fluke in fantasy.
Round 9 and I picked an SG finally. Rudy Gay seems to be the man in Memphis now that Pau is out with an injury. Yummy.
Round 10 and I decided to take on 35-yr old Snaq Oneal. Well I already have an excellent team and adding Shaq to MY BENCH is not such a bad thing. Not to mention the others will be groping for centers now... How do you miss Shaq on round 9? LOL.
Round 11 comes my investment. Peja gives me scoring, 3-balls and percentages.
Round 12 is my projected SLEEPER in the rookie race. Al Thornton has the chance to "carry" the Clippers on his rookie season. Seriously, have you seen his pre-season stats? They are consistently at 13pts 7 rebs.
Round 13 is where I decided to lock the 3-ball category - Q Rich provides for more or less 2 a game. Thats when healthy, equal to Mike Miller who gets picked in the middle rounds. Mine's very cheap.
Round 14 and I expected to draft a so-so player. Not until I dug to see Grant Hill was still around. He starts for Phoenix people and he gets plenty of shots from Nash. His percentages are well-balanced too.
Round 15 and who can get a decent player. Well I got Utah's 1st man off the bench - Paul Millsap. Seriously, see his stats.
Well, I'm done bragging. LOL. I'm just excited... |

Yea, I think that deal was good for me. Josh Smith is a really good overall player. As of now, I'm not planning on trading Yao. |

| It keeps you updated of the latest happenings in the whole league. It makes you appreciate the likes of Kevin Martin and Al Jefferson before they became the upcoming stars of today. |
