He said he believes the team has been upgraded but he does recognize that the media and public were expecting a blockbuster trade. He goes on to say he doesn't necessarily agree with that but if an opportunity came around that made sense then he would engage it of course.

He states that everyone has been practicing at their facility for the past 4 or 5 weeks. He doesn't expect LO to be 100% during training camp but he will be ready for the first game of the season

He's impressed with Critt and he said Critt loves to pass the ball. He categorizes Karl and Turner as training camp type players.

Why do they even interview this corpse? The guy says the same thing all the time. If there are deals out there we'll look into it if it makes the team better, we're upgraded, injuries killed us, etc...

He just said that Andrew took a 2 week vacation with his family. After that, he worked really hard during July and August. You could see him growing and so is his confidence level. He's still young...

This guy is a **** retarded robot. Always says the same **** in the same monotone voice. (you could hear the electronic parts in his head working as he speaks) When is he going to say something new. I have a question, dont they ever take calls when he is on? I would love to call him out in the radio and tell him how stupid i think he is.

I hope that Mitch was telling the truth about Andrew, today. We really need him to grow. His production will effect this team's direction, come this season. I just hope that he's improved noticeably...

I just listened to the replay on the internet. I thought the interview was about what should be expected. Mitch is not going to get on the radio and say a deal is in the works or anything like that. He gave updates and he was not going to get into the back and forth about Kobe. As stated in another article Kobe scheduled a pre-camp physical and so you would assume he is going to be there.

I actually like Mitch in interviews. He says nothing which is what a good GM does. Although fans would love to hear something big is going on, Mitch would not blurt that out in some random interview even if something was in the works Nor should we expect it.

If nothing else at least we know AB hs been working his a** off and Mihm and Kwame appear healthy. Can't ask for anything more.

I hope and pray to the basketball gods that AB and LO will have a breakout season this year or else we'll all be saying goodbye to Kobe in two years time

"Yes when an opportunity comes around, we'll engage in it....blah blah blah"

He'll say anything to make it sound like we're a contender

Why pray that LO will have a breakout season rather than a breakdown season when you can get a player who for sure plays -- the Matrix.

I think after the Shaq and Caron trades, Kupcake is gunshy and simply won't pull the trigger.
