Sac gets Lamar Odom
Utah gets John Salmons and Kwame Brown
Lakers get AK-47 and Ron Artest
It's perfect! everyone is happy...Utah gets Salmons to play the starting SG with Kwame as a backup C, plus they have Kwame's expring 9 million. Sac gets Odom to play SF and they keep Bibby and Martin. Odom would be a perfect fit on that team since he'd be the third option and can focus on facilitating and rebounding. LA gets Artest to play SF and Kirelinko to play PF. We get the defense that we desperatly need from our forward postitions plus we still keep a lot of our assets like Farmar, Critt, and Bynum.
Fisher, Bryant, Artest, Kirelinko, Bynum
Farmar, Critt, Evans, Walton, Rodmonovic, Turiaf, Mihm. |

| I like both because I believe in defense, but do you really see Ron Ron in a Lakers uni after what Buss has said? |

| Its perfect for us.. but seriously.. would 2 western conference teams allow the 2 best players in the trade, going to the same team that already has kobe? i find it nearly impossible for it to happen, we'd have a better shot if it was a 2 trade thing. and if a 3 way is needed, adding an eastern conference team in the mix. |

Too bad Dumb and Dumber don't sit up nights thinking about these types of possibilities and try to make them happen.
Here is the bottom line: if Kupcake were the GM the year Kobe was drafted, would he have had the genius to swap Vlade for the rights to Kobe? Answer: not in one million years. 'Nuff said. |

| While this deal has a snowball chance in hell, it would bring us defense. |

Kobe threatened to sit out when the Hornets drafted him. He was practically served to LA on a silver platter. |
