LOL. I'll give them every reasonable breakdown why a deal for AK would make sense.
However, the Jazz have the power to negotiate to 28 other teams for offers, 15 of which are preferable by being in the East. I have to admit that teams like NJ would have the PERFECT trade piece if only they will part with Richard Jefferson for Kirilenko. AK would thrive as the Nets PF and Sloan would have the hard-working not-so-flashy-but-really-effective SF which the Jazz sorely lacks.
Imagine:
Deron Williams
Matt Harpring
Richard Jefferson
Carlos Boozer
Mehmet Okur
and
Jason Kidd
Vince Carter
Bostjan Nachbar
Andrei Kirilenko
Nenad Krstic / Jamal Magloire
I am not optimistic this will happen but I am forever hopeful. Not many teams are interested in AK's 4-yr 63M deal remaining. I'm simply assuming the Lakers are... |

this is the very reason why we have a vet forum,
if you take a look at the forum, theres a kid whom just spam the whole forum with short-a** comments... sigh... |

| I like the original trade offer because we get AK while still keeping our core of Fish, Kobe, Bynum, and Odom. If AK could return to his form of a couple of seasons ago, we are way good. Hek, I will throw in a first round draft pick to get it done if we can keep our core players. We need to win more than we need another draft pick. Draft picks mean more projects. Lets do it. Warren, you call Utah and get the ball rolling. Forget Kupcake. Do the negotiations yourself. |

Great ideas Warren. I think the Lakers can pull of a straight-up trade with the Jazz to get AK. I don't think it's going to take much either. I live in Utah and Larry H. Miller comes on this sports talk radio show each week. He has often stated that they would love to trade AK, but that it would be very hard to find or 'trick' a team into taking him at his current salary.
The Jazz are only a couple of players away from getting to the WCF year in and year out. They are in desperate need of a SG. The expiring contract of Kwame would be hugely beneficial to them to either acquire that SG or to free up some space once they offer that big contract to Deron Williams.
It's very possible guys. It works out well for both teams. Again, the owner himself said he wants to get rid of him. Let's just cross our fingers and hope Mitch gives O'Connor a call. |

| I would be for this as well, keeping LO and AB, adding a defensive PF and a better scorer then Kwame. He would be easier to trade if it comes down to that. |

It's great guys. They're talking about AK right now on the radio. I actually called up and proposed my trade to the hosts - one liked it, one didn't. The one guy thought it was great that the Jazz would be able to trade Kwame, or use him as trade bait, or just use him on the team and wait until his contract expires. The other guy hates Kwame and just wouldn't want him on the team. If we had a SG to offer to them, I almost think it would be a lock.
All the fans up here want AK gone as well. Larry H. Miller and the fans want AK out of town, training camp is in two weeks for them, a trade for AK has got to be going down sooner than later. |

Utah gets the three things that they need, a backup SG (Sasha), a SF (Evans), and a backup PF/C (Kwame), all with 1 year on their contracts. We get AK, and a PG (Brewer) to balance their line up, and Critt works at SG, with Farmar the heir (sorry I used this term) at PG.
Fisher/Farmar/Brewer
Kobe/Critt/Karl
LO/Luke/Cook
AK/Radman/E Brown
AB/Mihm/Turiaf |

AK would be good if we could get him for a package centered around Kwame. From the looks of things that wouldn't be hard to do but Utah is severely overvaluing AK..
Fisher
Bryant
Odom
AK47
Bynum |

| lets quit thinking like our front office guys. we arent getting kirelinko for a package around kwame. its the same with the JO trade. to get AK, we would have to build a package around bynum or trade odom for him. we need to stop thinking we can get good players for table scraps. |

i agree. its not even a real rumor yet and it appears that the jazz arent looking to move him despite AK saying he wants to get traded. |

Alright then let's let the Jazz buy him out when he's unhappy and moping and pick him up for the MLE next offseason or if's willing to accept 10-day conracts this season! |
