| Crap room that is awesome. If we got AK we would be alot better. If we could unload Vlad and Kwame for him I would be all for that every minute of every hour of every day of every week. |

I currently live in Utah. I am going to school here getting my MBA. The only thing on the radio I listen to up here is sports talk. Every Thursday the Big Show has Larry H. Miller on. Listening to his weekly interviews and reading articles in the SL Trib, I don't think the Jazz would mind trading AK for Kwame or for VRad. Larry, personally, is fed up with AK and his constant whining and inconsistent play. They butt heads quite often and it's growing old on Larry and Sloan.
I actually think they would prefer to have Kwame in the deal as his contract is expiring at the end of the season and they'll be able to use that $9 mil elsewhere - most likely to take care of their SG need. It doesn't sound like they're even looking for equal value either. LHM has admitted that he is very open to trading him, but he said it would be hard to find a team willing to take him on at his current salary.
If the front office and team are really that interested in him, I don't think it would be hard to swing a deal with the Jazz to acquire him. I know AK would welcome a trade here as he and DFish had a good friendship while playing here. Also, I think everyone would love to play with Kobe or for Phil. I really think it's a matter of Mitch giving them a call.
I'm in the market for buying a new car; I should hit up one of Larry's dealerships and say I'll buy if he ships AK to us... |

Jangles, you just made my eyes pop out. Since Kwame has got to be on the way out anyway and by moving
Vlad it would make less of a glut at that position. We would have two 1st team Nba defenders and AK is an awesome help defender in the paint. Oooooh and Mychael Thompson loves that guy. He makes the players he plays against very frustrated, and he gets out and runs. There are very few trades for Kwame that make sense dollar for dollar. |

"theres no way in hell they would accept"
I don't think you know what you're talking about man. I am not trying to act as though I'm an expert on this issue, but I may be the only LTB member that lives in Utah.
You do not need to take my word for it, I'm literally quoting Larry H. Miller. Straight from the horses mouth. Larry thinks it is going to be a challenge trying to find anyone that wants to take on his salary. AK wants out, and Larry and O'Connor want him gone too. With his constant whining he is only ruining the good chemistry that the Jazz have.
The Jazz also need to free up some money because they are going to have to give Williams a huge contract. Milsap is also going to command some money as well. By getting Kwame and his expiring $9 mil they are able to do that as well as pursue a quality SG.
There is a way in hell that they would do it. My personal feeling is that there is no way in hell they would not do it. |

It's like those Adidas commercials: Impossible is nothing.
And honestly, it's not like an AK trade is borderline impossible, really... In fact I'd say it's quite possibly possible. =) |

| Mabuhay!! I dont know how AK47 will fit in with the team considering his lanky frame. Big PF in the league (Tim Duncan, Rasheed Wallace etc..) will surely capitalize on his small frame to back him down easily. During the 3peat championship team of Shaq & Kobe, the PF position has been the biggest problem of the lakers because of Robert Horry's lack of toughness inside (but more than made up for it with hustle and mental toughness) which led to his departure in favor of Karl Malone. AK47 to the lakers for Kwame and others...may be an upgrade offensively but i doubt it will make us better defensively which is our prime concern for the coming season. |
