That was a gem. I want a video link of Bynum shouting that,.
I'll post the video link if it comes out on the team web page. |

| Good game by Jordan Hill, Steve Blake, Kobe, and Pau. Sessions played good too. We still need Barnes and Ebanks to play better. We still need more rebounds and post defense. Great way to take control of the series! On to OKC... That's gonna be tough... |

I read that you could have directv and still watch all the games.
I bought league pass for the first time at the start of this season and I'm very happy with it. I'd highly recommend it, it's decent value considering you get all games for the season plus all playoff games.
DOesnt it black out Lakers games? Well I liv in Cali, and I always get blacked out and keeps sayin i need to watch the game to the nearest TV. Im always on the go and want to watch it on my phone, but never do cuz of that. I Hav to stream it using flash player for iphone, and the quality suks. League pass looks nice and HD doh. Ive watched other teams on it, and its clean and fast. Jus doesnt play Lakers for me -_-. |

Never thought Gallinari could make to the top 10 floppers. Still nobody could beat Griffin on this department. |

bro...flopping can cause serious injuries...Blake Griffin looks like an idiot after flopping, he stares and pretend to be tough.... Pierce is in the hall of flopping!! Gallinari and Genobli flops a lot too... FLOPPING SHOULD BE ILLEGAL... im just glad that the refs redeemed themselves from their bad calls tonight... |

Yep! Hill is making it impossible to keep him off the court. The more minutes he gets, the better he becomes. And the quality rest he gives Drew and Pau will also pay huge dividends down the road. What a pleasant surprise. LOVE the effort at both ends! |

Love the way Kobe is building up his guys. Earlier in the game you could see Kobe almost forcing Blake into "you gotta shoot it dude" situations. He knew all along that SOMEBODY was gonna have to hit some shots from the outside.
Speaking of shots, I can only hope that Metta isn't completely out of the offensive rhythm that he had previously worked himself into. I know we'll need his defense the most, but he'll have to be an offensive threat again too. |

I won't deny that Fisher was a good flopper. But what you have to recognize off the top with Fisher is that he usually stood in and took the hit full force. He didn't try to avoid the hit with his flops. You have to give him credit for that. He gets labeled legitimately as a flopper because he added some acting on top of that. Anyway, I consider that a huge difference between him and some of the current floppers. |

This could be a separate thread about Kobe and his amazing focus as an athlete, but I think it's interesting as a post-game comment.
When will home crowds of other teams EVER learn that antagonizing Kobe with boos, chants, taunts, etc. is like slapping their own team in the face? How many times does he have to prove himself before they will learn? I say keep up the good work Nuggets crowd! You're only hurtin' your own team. Bring it on!
Quote:
Kobe Bryant Says Denver Crowd Boos Add Incentive
By Adrian Dater, The Denver Post
Kobe Bryant has been booed heavily every time he's touched the ball at the Pepsi Center in this playoff series with the Nuggets, which adds up to a lot of booing. The longtime Los Angeles Lakers star doesn't mind it. In fact, he implied before Sunday's Game 4 that it can only serve to hurt the Nuggets' chances.
"It's always strange for me when fans (various derogatory chants). Why provoke me, after all these years?" Bryant said.
It is the sports fandom equivalent of the ultimate compliment, though, to boo a road player so much. If Bryant were just another guy who never hurt you, nobody would pay any attention if he had the ball.
"But yeah, it's fun to hear that. And that's one of the things you'll miss when you retire and stuff, the chanting and the heckling," Bryant said. "It's all part of it, it's all fun."
Altitude issues? Lakers center Andrew Bynum hinted at the Denver altitude being a possible factor in his bad first half in Game 3. But Lakers coach Mike Brown doesn't want the mile-high air to be an excuse for Bynum, or anyone else on his team.
"Maybe for a guy like me who's in my kind of shape, it would matter," Brown said. "But for these guys, I don't think it should be a factor."
Bynum promised a better start in Game 4, and he delivered. In the first nine minutes of the first quarter, he posted seven points - seven more than he had in the first half Friday.

| Good team effort, good win on the road, time to close the series now at L.A. OKC is already waiting for us, and that's going to be a much harder test for sure. I hope coach Brown will have seen the last game's 4th quarter, OKC running 16 times a high pick & roll with Harden as PG that destroyed Dallas. We better be ready to defend that. |

Great team win.
Jordan Hill has been a great factor. Blake and Session with great 3s.
I feel bad for Barnes, he's trying really hard, but nothing goes his way.
I hope he keeps playing hard cause his luck will change, he deserves it. |

yup! we always have problems with pick and rolls...I guess because our bigs are too slow to cover spaces when they stepped into those pick and rolls...remember we used J Hill at the last part of the game instead of Bynum... |

I'm a little concerned with how Andre Miller is easily bullying Ramon. This to me, doesn't bode well for the next series with Westbrook comes calling. Didn't realize how small sessions is...
Andre Miller has been bullying us everytime we play against this guy, he is one of the PG that i want our team to have...good point here...if he is going to be a problem i think Kobe will step up to guard him... |

We need Kobe to guard Afflalo though. Kobe has mostly shut down Afflalo in this series and we can't afford for Afflalo to get hot. Afflalo averaged over 18 points per game after the All-Star break so it's more important that Kobe continue to defend him in game 5.
Sessions and Blake are just gonna have to man up and deal with Andre Miller and his old man's game. Our bigs can continue to provide help as the last line of defense and help close off those driving lanes. In terms of team defense, the Lakers did a much better job on Miller in the 2nd half. |

Miller's one of the best posting PGs - he'd bully most opposing PGs in the post. Westbrook doesn't have the post game and problems handling him will be on our bigs as much as our guards. |
