This should be interesting. I personally dont like when Kobe holds the ball too long instead of making his move quick like he did in the last game.

Kobe: I hate when he receives the ball, has a shot but instead chooses to size his man up. It affectlvely stops ball movement and has his teammates looking at him while he pulls up for a contested jumpshot.

Big Drew: when he holds the ball instead of getting rid of it quickly when he is doubled. Also his way of holding the ball up high is a double edged sword, he can't power up and explode with the ball up high all the time and he ends up getting his shot blocked. Also he needs to abandon the reverse layup if he doesn't do it quickly, which is why it always seems to get blocked.

Sessions: needs a left hand that he can fully trust.

Something I dislike about Bynum's game? Hmmmm. I don't like how he gets down on himself sometimes. That's one of the things he's gonna have to overcome as he transitions to the team's #1 player in the coming years. A lot of Kobe's supreme and unshakable confidence has rubbed off on Bynum, but Bynum needs to mimic that attitude even when his shots are occasionally not falling, which happens to all players

I hate when Kobe waits to see that he missed the shot to then complain to the refs.
I hate when Bynum easily gets called for traveling in those clumsy moments under the rim.

I hate it when Kobe won't stop shooting even when he's having an off night. Especially when the game is on the line.
I hate it when Bynum says something or does something that gets him in trouble, it makes him look bad.
I hate it when Metta misses a layup or dunk.

Matt Barnes: Love Matt's aggression. His energy off the bench has been one of the hidden keys for the Lakers improvement this season. He's a true leader by example in that regard. But for the negative, he sometimes gets out of control on fouls. I want him aggressive, but I don't want him kicked out or getting unnecessary techs. Still, Barnes is probably the toughest player on the Lakers team. Dude is fearless flying to the basket. Oh...okay...a 2nd negative. I hate the way he misses seriously easy layups at times when he gets in too much of a hurry to shoot.

Repped High Quality Post
I hate when Kobe complains to the refs rather than get back quickly to prevent a transition bucket in the middle of the game or when he calls off the play for an iso when he's not hot.

I hate it when Bynum zones out and stops putting effort on D.

I hate it when Pau doesn't stay aggressive and would rather let Kobe or Sessions orchestrate our O. I also hate it when he doesn't go strong to the hoop or faces up to a smaller and less skilled defender rather than take it strong to the hoop for a foul.

I hate it when Metta loses control or is in too much control of himself lol.......and also when he hesitates to take open shots.

I hate it when Sessions tries too many floaters or tries to drive left because he isn't obviously very good at either of them.

I hate it when Blake passes up open shots when he's supposed to be our perimeter threat.

I hate it when Barnes commits dumb fouls or rushes through his shots.

I hate it when Hill doesn't play lol Razz

I cringe everytime Murphy even plays in the game and when he shoots his flatline J lol.

I hate it when McRoberts bites every pump fake and gets into foul trouble so easily.

I hate it when Ebanks doesn't play like an Ariza clone Wink

And finally...........I hate it when MikeB doesn't take players out at the end of blowouts lol. DRose has got to me.

*in an unassuming voice*

I was supposed to give my two cents about "The things you dislike about your favorite players' game" right??? I'm pretty confident about my reading skills lol. It just might be possible that I made a mistake. But surely that can't be it right???

*Cue LSD entering with that pic about SPQR being 99.999% right minus the SPQR part lol* Wink ( Pretty sure you knew that such jabs would be coming your way SPQR. Wink )

I HAD to leave out some guys in order to make the criteria lol. Laughing

Otherwise, I would be accused of belonging to "Laker fan who likes everyone on the team" and not "Kobe-phile who doesn't like everyone on the team". I don't think I'd be able to break through such large accusations lol Wink

If someone can't get it and thinks it's insinuating something, hold your horses and copy the following onto a word document and see it in a larger font.

Congrats! You get 1 point for realizing it was a dig. You lose a GAZZILION points for not realizing that it was a sarcastic comment at the hot trending topics of LTB the last few days. Just a little tongue in cheek. Now get on that horse and come after me!!! Twisted Evil

Still one of my absolute favorite players was Nick "the quick" Van Exel. I guess if I had to pick an aspect of his game I didnt really like, it was that I remember him being either red hot or ice cold. Very streaky. But thats not why I listed him. He was and still is one of my favorite players ever, and Im most upset he didnt get to stay a Laker through all the championship years because he had an attitude problem. If my memory is correct he had issues with Shaq, Kobe and Fish. Nobody has issues with fish...Nobody. Im just bummed out he couldnt get his act together and make peace because he was, in my opinion, one of the more fun players to watch and I find myself fantasizing about how things could have been back then had it all worked out.

With Drew it is him holding the ball, three guys are on him, you can see him thinking...then he tries to go through the three guys instead of passing, lol. Also, he can be so damn dominant on defense, when he isn't in games, it pisses me off.

With Kobe, its playing one on two, or three, or four, then shooting over two, or three or four, when he has good teamates there and two of the best low post players in the league. Move that ball Kobe. You will often find it coming back for a better look.

With Pau, well, lol, this has gone on forever. Sometimes he has the ball, often to make a good pass, but sometimes, too many times, he will lower the ball, just stand there, like a frozen deer, thinking god knows what, and you know its just a matter of time before someone bats the ball out if his hands for a fast break up the other end.

Its like watching a horror movie where the girl is just standing there, doing nothing. You know the villian is going to come out and get her. You want to scream at her. In this case, get the ball away from Pau. And before it happens, you want to scream at him too, lol.
