Quote:
Otis Smith visited Dwight Howard in Los Angeles on Tuesday and reported that he is 10 to 15 pounds lighter, but has developed a slight belly.
"He seems to be good," Smith said. "He's a little perturbed that he can't be around. He's a little perturbed that he can't play at this time of the year especially."
Both Smith and Magic CEO Alex Martins said Howard has not asked for a trade.
Howard underwent surgery to repair a herniated disk on April 20th.

Honestly, Orlando should have just traded this guy away even if it was for lesser talent. They are getting knocked out this year, and with their contract situation, odds of them getting better next year are very slim. Yet they are going to have to go through with all this Howard drama next year as well. And he's just going to end up leaving. They should have just traded him away and started fresh.

The whole team including owners need to be moved to Somalia. They need to rename the team as the Pirates.

Even if D12 has asked for a trade, the magic won't say it publicly. They don't want to lose even more leverage out of the little they have left. Just a horrible situation for everyone involved but everyone deserves some blame throughout the whole saga.

Seeing Bynumite played these couple of games the Magic FO are probably scratching their heads on why they did not swap Howard for Bynum when they can....

Does anyone actually care? Why do the Magic have to consistently publicize whether he's asked for a trade or not?
