Thunder's Perkins leaves Game 4 with right hip strain
Posted May 5 2012 8:30PM
DALLAS (AP) -- Oklahoma City's Kendrick Perkins is out of Game 4 of the playoff series against Dallas because of a right hip strain.
Perkins walked gingerly back to the bench after getting called for his second foul with 4:09 left in the first quarter Saturday night. The Thunder were on defense at the time when the 6-foot-10 center made contact with another player, though it wasn't exactly clear if that is when he got hurt.
The Thunder said Perkins wouldn't return to the game.
Perkins had two rebounds, two assists and missed his only shot in his 8 minutes.

Might give Mavs enough to carry this to 6 or 7 games. |

Hopefully, they will lose their rhythm during their break. It's going to be a tough series for the Lakers. |

That or they get too high on sweeping the defending champs and we steal home court on game 1. |

I jus hope t Lakers are the Mavs of last year. Ppl not expecting them to win it, catch fire and own every team in the west, and then end up upsetting the Heat in the Finals! I pray for this to happen, the Mavs remind me of the team that the Lakers were last year. Not the same roster, and the loss of the humbleness off a championship. If the Lakers were to b the Mavs of last year, then we win! .... But yea, OKC is the real deal, i jus hope the Grizz win vs the Clips so the Grizz can own San Antonio, OkC is scary, its gon b tough. Lets focuz on the Nuggets first since theyre the one whos blocking us atm. We need to stop shootin too many 3's and Drew needs to learn how to counter the dbl team. Only reason Drew aint gettin the ball much is that Den dblin teaming him quik, even dbling him even if he aint got the ball, they shuttin down tha passin lane for him. Also Drew needs to b rdy, and show up and play D! Mcgre shud not b puttin up those numbers |

to me, it's very disheartening for those bulls players they worked very hard to get the best record in the Nba then sudden injuries to their two best players is an emotional damage to the team. |

Agreed, it has to be disheartening losing your best players but they still have enough to beat the 76'rs. Nobody is going to feel sorry for them, they just need to focus and take care of business. |

they don't have a leader right now . knowing that you can't win a championship without your best players. it's hard to get the right mentality , there is no switch on and off.
as for the Knicks I'm happy for them, they finally win,who knows Lin might come back game 5 and shock the world. |

I know it has to be difficult but getting bounded out of the playoffs by a lesser team has to be even harder to deal with.
I truly believe the Knicks were done. Good for them, they actually made it a game in MSG. |

The team sucks and btw the other team is pretty good! The Jazz are getting point blank looks tho, yet unable to score...15-0 run by the Spurs! The Jazz are still too young and have too many inexperienced players. |
