| Of course it´s safe...don´t worry man. I live in Salt Lake City and rock my Lakers gear to every game when they play the Lakers. Same goes for numerous other fans. There should be enough Laker fans in Oakland for you to not feel alone. Trust me, wherever you go, you´ll find lots of Laker fans. |

| This is a rather precious thread. You'll be okay mate. |

Damn that's a sad story..smh I didn't think there was such hostility between fans in the US, especially in a game like this. In a series like the one vs the Kings it's kind of predictable but in a game like this that matters nothing...I've never been to an nba game I've only watched it on tv and from what I see I thought there was a friendly environment on most games, much more friendly than the kind of environment we get at a soccer game in Europe. I never thought it was like this.
I hope you enjoy your first Lakers game! I'm sure it'll be a hell of an experience! |

| I agree with the above. Enjoy the game and wear those Lakers colors proudly! No need to be an obnoxious fan, but have fun! You'd probably feel bad if you didn't wear your Lakers jersey because it's always fun to see how many Lakers fans there are at away games! You'll be surprised. There are always far more than you ever think there will be. Road games are awesome! |

| I went to the last laker game up here, you know wen Bynum took the three. Anyways, we outnumbered the warriors fans and there were no altercations! You will be fine. Have fun! |

Hostility between fans? A little fight doesn't match the hockey riots in Canada! LOL |

You'll be fine man.
I'm from SoCal but I go to school in the Bay.
I went to the game last year. From what I remember, there were no altercations. If anything, it seemed as if the Lakers fans outnumbered the Warriors fans.
Enjoy yourself. If anyone tries to start anything, just be the better person and walk away.
Have fun! |

I know I know, that's a whole different kind of hostility. I just mean that a thought it was a really calm and friendly environment based on what I watch on tv. |

Ive wore my Lakers jerseys to road games before, raptors, magic, ect. sometimes you get some comments, but mostly in good fun. |

| Been to about 20 Laker games in Oakland and 10 in Sacramento. Every time I was able to wear my Laker stuff with no real problems. It helps when there are more Laker fans than the home team fans in the arena. Also helps to be 6'4" 240lbs with your head on a swivel when walking the parking lot. |
