I guess Ron is out of LA by tomorrow. So long Tinseltown.

I think Ron would retire than go to minny or any rebuilding situation.

I assume the Lakers are getting both Felton and Beasley in the 3-team deal? Need MWP's contract along with Blake's to make it work.

Thats what I said in a bifferent thread. If we are sending Blake to the Blazers then I guess we would also get Felton.

Although MWP is playing well now...his contract is a problem with the luxury tax. If we can move it...do it....

MWP to Minny is not that far-fetched if that is where he would be headed. He thrived under Adelman as coach in Sactown and H-Town

I am warm about Metta, he can't buy a shot and on wins he's like 14 ppg or something, everyone turned out to be a W as a result of his scoring, not his D as so many people have assumed. If Metta played like he used to around 2008, there would be no need to go after a Beasley, we'd be focusing entirely on either packaging him for Dwight or making a PG trade. Metta has no stroke, and gives people strokes when he does shoot the rock, yes it's confidence based with the guy, but he's lost his magic touch a while ago so I wouldn't be too worried about having him sit on the bench or play less minutes.. His job is to come in and defend, and give us his best energy when he's on the court, be it rebounds, the nice long rang pass or the occasional sharpshooting from the top of the key. But that's it, we are in dire need of offense and outside shooting things we don't get from Fisher and Metta on a consistent basis, then fans everywhere complain about Kobe shooting too much from outside to get a team back to a nice distance. Tell me this, how did MWP do vs the Mavs and NO series last season? This is a few months removed and he's actually older and slower. At this point you wonder how much he's actually going to give you, how often and how effective he's going to be. So I'd rather have Bynum playing 35 a game, Kobe going down to 30 a game, and a PG - SF rotation that does more with more mins. Even when he does gets minutes, he's night and day and his defense is porous many times as well, so confidence is staying where it's at. But if he does indeed go to the bench, he's just gotta realize he's not Artest anymore, and also know he is best when he gives it his all and is in full concentration mode. I liken the idea of moving him to the bench as a special teams defender in football, you dont need them the majority of the time but you do need them on certain situations.

Sorry if someone else has said this already, but Ron's brother has come up with off the wall predictions in tweets before. They don't mean much at all.

This guy has been saying this for two seasons. Chicken Little is no longer believable. He is a no talent individual living off of his brothers name. Ron should trade him to the Karchinigen family.
