The Blazers recently offered Crawford to the L.A. Clippers for Eric Bledsoe, but the Clippers were not interested. While they like Crawford, they are concerned about his ability to opt out of his contract after this season (which Crawford definitely will do, sources say), and they feel that Bledsoe will have great value at draft time because there are few point guards in the draft.

The Clippers also have their eye on Ray Allen and believe they'll have a great chance to sign him as a free agent this summer. The Lakers called Portland recently to inquire about a possible trade for Crawford.

The Los Angeles Lakers are also in discussions with Houston and Cleveland about a three-team deal that would send Ramon Sessions to the Lakers, Jonny Flynn to Cleveland and a Lakers first-round draft pick to Houston. Cleveland, however, is unwilling to do the deal unless it gets a first-round pick for Sessions.

Attention, the Lakers will make a move by the end of the day.
They either get sessions or crawford tonight. It is possible they get
Howard for the right deal

If lakers get both Jamal and felton. Jamal would be the jason terry or ginobili type of player off the bench. If the lakers trade for those two, I believe glock will be gone. I see the lakers trade steve blake, goudelock, possibly a first pick for felton + jamal crawford.

Team would look like this

PG: Felton / Fisher / Morris (if he is called back from d-league)
SG: Kobe / Crawford / Kapono
SF: Artest / barnes / Ebanks
PF: Pau / Murphy / McRob
C: Bynum

The problem is I don't think portland is willing to trade with the lakers since they are in the same conference. Hopefully today or tomorrow portland will prove me wrong. We are going to be seeing some "Shake n Bake" dribbling from jamal if he does become a laker.

Well it also said that the Cavs do not want to trade Sessions unless they get a first round pick out of it.

^^^^^ if we are going to move Gasol anyway. That's what I would want. If we are not then just a minor deal for either Sessions or Felton and a scorer off the bench.

If Cleveland won't do the deal unless they get the 1st round pick, then why don't the Lakers just do the trade straight across with the Cavs? Why involve Houston? What am I missing?

Me either. Its appears we might be able to get Felton and Crawford without giving up Gasol. So basically you are trading Gasol for Wallace and I dont see how that makes us better at all.

You get a pg which is what we need. Crawford the much needed bench scoring AND Wallace who can play lock down defense and he works hard every night. He's the younger, athletic SF we need. Then we would still have our 1st round pick and the TPE to get a PF to fill Gasol's spot. Someone suitable.

Lakers just can't absorb Session's contract without either using the TPE or sending a player out.

Maybe we were sending Blake to Houston, Flynn to Cavs and Sessions to Lakers with the Cavs getting a pick as well.

Portland's talks with Minnesota for Jamal Crawford are part of a 3-way scenario with Lakers, source says. Michael Beasley would go to LA.

I hope we also get Felton from Portland. We have to do something about our PG situation.

Either the Blazers find a new home for Raymond Felton and Jamal Crawford (who have quietly orchestrated a mutiny ever since Nate McMillan chewed them out in a video session a while back) or they'll probably have to let Nate go. If I'm a Blazer fan ... I'd rather lose Felton and Crawford. They won't get a lot for either guy, but there is such a thing as addition by subtraction. ESPN.com

Im really hoping for Felton in the deal as well.

In that possible 3-team deal w/Blazers, T-Wolves, and Lakers, I can't confirm as of now if Blazers would receive Steve Blake in return.

I can definitely see this going down within the next hour or two. It sounds realistic and seems to benefit all teams. After this, I'm sure the Lakers will swing a deal for a point guard using the 1st round pick (probably for Sessions).
