    Houston gets:
    Radmanovic
    Cook
rights to Sun Yue (as bonus to play with Yao)

    Miami gets:
    Alston
    Sura

    LA Lakers get:
    Jason Williams

We get position to do trade on the deadline or to acquire a significant name in the 08 free agent market.

    -----------------------------------------------------------
Houston basically trades Sura for Cook, Alston for Radmanovic. They add shooting and size while getting rid of 2 of their guard overload.

    Francis / James / Brooks
    Tmac / Bonzi / Snyder
    Battier / Radmanovic / Reed
    Scola / Cook / Novak
    Yao / Butler /

Miami gets a starting quality PG for Jason Williams' expiring contract.

    Alston / Smush / Sura
    Wade / Cook / Penny /
    Walker / Wright / Richardson
    Haslem / Simien / Johnson / Slaughter
    Shaq / Zo / Doleac

The Lakers add a significantly valued expiring contract as additional trade asset.

    Farmar / Fisher / Crittenton / JWill
    Kobe / Sasha / Karl
    Walton / Evans / Sasha
    Odom / Turiaf / Turner
    Kwame / Bynum / Mihm

I understand the moving Cook and Radman but for a 4th PG? Sasha tries to play PG as well, thats 5.

Simple, so that we may have more trade assets. Expirings come in handy in the deadline.

we cant get rid of radman who is our only outside shooting threat, to bring in another pg.

I'd do it if Sasha is gone instead of Vlad Rad
