| I see a 49 and 17 season. Lets' put our predictions on the line and see how we all stack up at the end. What do you all think? Let the predictor get the recognition. Ready? |

ill say 50-16....
we might have not gotten pual and d12... and lose LO because of he's too emotional... but we have signed 3 ggreat role players... i'd take them 3 rather than having paul and d12 without a effective BENCH players.. |

Think they'll come out determined with a fire lit under them and go 56-10.
Just my guess for fun who knows at this point. |

To me it all comes down to how fast they pick up Mike Brown's defense. The points are going to be there. Kobe, Pau, and Bynum will not only put up a lot of points, but they'll attract so much attention that the Lakers' other players will have plenty of wide open opportunities.
I am going to say 51-15. Winning 50+ games in a shortened season is a pretty impressive thing to do. |

| Ordinarily I would predict 45 - 21. But with Drew out five games, I revise it downward -- 42 - 24. This should stil be good enough for the playoffs. |

Can the Lakers avoid 0-5 seriously? No Drew, so Paul shifts to Center and gets devoured on the defensive end.
I say 40-26 |

So with Bynum suspended for 5 games and Kobe potentially out for a few weeks, Gasol will stand alone. LOL. This is not gonna be fun.
I don't know about the full season prediction, but 0-5 looks like a pretty safe bet at this point. LOL |

| I started this thread and am now changing my mind. It's ok, cause the season has yet to start. I've thought about it and realized we still have the Black Mamba. Ebanks is gonna arrive, and Bynum will miss one extra game. I am changing my prediction to 51 and 15. The annointment of the Clippers have alot to do with this. I am now convinced the Lakers will thrive from the big talk of the Clippers being the new team from L.A. This is what Kobe thrives on, and the rest will follow. Henceforth, the Lakers will play at the highest level. I am now more confident than ever. Book it. Yes I said it. "I book it" |

| 45-21 feels optimistic, but I'll go with it. Every team in the league is gonna have several down periods where they lose games they should have won. It happens all the time anyway, but this year with the compressed schedule it will happen even more. |

35 5.95%
40 28.57%
45 30.16%
50 26.19%

Average opinion in this forums 43 games (65%).
After 0-2 start is necessary: 43-64 (67%) to achieve this result. Last year was 57/82 = 69.5%.
43 wins means from the last year 8th place in league and 5th in the conference. |
