Quote:
Tucson Citizen -
Damon Stoudamire says he's as healthy as he's been in some time and is getting ready for another season in the NBA, his 13th.
"Hopefully I can get out of Memphis - that rebuilding process is hard,'' he said Sunday, after he scored 21 points in the Lute Olson Classic. "I've got to be professional but it's one of those situations where you never think you'll be in. You want to get put in a situation where you want to win. Individually things don't matter.
"I'm going to keep my fingers crossed (about being moved) but I'm not going to make any demands or nothing,'' he said.
"Anybody who's been in my position knows. You see the writing on the wall so I'm hoping at the end of the day we can work something out.''

| We dont need another PG. The point gurads we have are enough, Farmar is a passer (true PG) , Crittenton is a scorer and DFish will monitor the floor and bring balance the young PG's. Unless we can get Kidd, no need to change the pieces that we have. |

Kidd? We had our chance to get Kidd at the trade deadline but it's over now. We should be focusing on getting Artest, Maggette, or JO |

I know we had a chance at Kidd, what I am saying is that the PG's we have now are anough, like I said before UNLESS we can get Kidd, no need to change the PG's we have, we are fine at that position, I didnt say we are fine at EVERY position. |

| Oh, you guys are getting desperate. Why in the world would we want Damon Stoudemire??? We have enough pgs, and the way it looks, none of 'em are going to be traded. So why would you go after a 5'10" guy, whose had injuries, and seems like he would fit in better with a fast break team like the suns???? I mean I know we're all frustrated by the lack of action, but that would just be plain stupid if we looked to pursue him. |
