Guys I've got a three team trade I thought up on my own that you might like.
I thought about team needs and desires. I know the clips are realing after last year's big expenses, livingston's injury and the bust on Kaman's contract. They need a young point guard to help Cassell out badly expecially since they went for Thornton in the draft to back up Brand, and Jordan isn't expected to be great.
Detroit is happy with the resigning of Billups, the play of Stuckey their future guard- what about Afflalo? Also what about Sheed who they desperately want to unload.
My proposal:
Offer up local hero (UCLA) Jordan Farmar/ Athletic, inspiring future All Star Turiaf who will give them the team spirit they desperately need and as you will see Thornton's upside. Cash incentives.
Detroit offers Afflalo (Farmer's ex-teammate) to the Clips as well to pair a rising tandem of guards that fluorished well together in the NCAA, and Rasheed Wallace an aging offensive threat to play the outside for Brand.
Detroit is offered Thornton (future big they will need after this next season) Brian Cook, Kwame Brown (expiring contract) our 1st rounder next year and cash incentives from us.
We get in return Chris Kaman, Corey Maggette and Tim Thomas.
overall
Lakers- Kaman, Maggette, Thomas
Detroit- Thornton, Cook, Kwame, 1st pick, cash
Clips- Farmar, Afflalo, Turiaf, Rasheed Wallace, cash
our roster
fish/critt
kobe/evans
maggette/walton
Odom/T. Thomas/Rad
Bynum/Kaman/Mihm |

| Hmm... Nice try but I think you're doing the Clips a big favor by giving them Sheed. lol |

Here's another thought.
To acquire Pau Gasol from a team that's rebuilding and got a lot of talent, let's give them more.
Critt, Bynum, Turiaf and Kwame for salary balance for Gasol. Three more crazy youngsters for one middle aged all star.
Kobe would love that move.
Fish/Farmar
Kobe/Evans
Walton/Rad
Odom/Cook
Pau/Mihm |

I feel like I'm reaching big time because we are one of the only teams that wants to change.
I would say the clips, New Orleans, us, maybe chicago a little now, Sac. These are the only desperate teams out there.
Everyone else is content. Makes sense though. All the crappy teams- Memphis, Boston, Portland, Seattle, Orlando. they are all improved. |

First of all, Detroit will not give up Rasheed.
Second, The Grizz will want Lamar and Andrew for Pau and someone else.
Third, if we don't do a trade to acquire somebody who will help us improve, we're dead. |

Yeah thats true. Chi-Town and the Hornets needs a low-post scorer, we need another superstar and improve our defense, and the Queens just need players who don't suck as much lol.
I like Pau, but he's not that good defensively compared to JO. |

| to be honest, i thought u were trying to get somewhere by forcing players around to get Elton Brand to the Lakers but you stuck us with Corey. To be honest, i would be much happier with a healthy luke walton than having corey start. Chris Kaman is def. the type of player who we don't need. He's not a negative, or a postive, he's just a big +/- and a question mark. It's sad to say but I would much rather have Kwame instead of Kaman. |

| The Griz already have a young core of very talented PG's. I doubt they want more. Nice try though LF8 |
