I received an email from Momo stating the following:
" I was having lunch with my lovely bride at the Phuc Phi when I overheard these two gentlemen talking about a trade involving the lakers, celtics, and Wolves....I didn't want to seem overly interested, but they talked about Garnett going to the LA and the Celtics gettting Odom. I finally got the courage to turn and see who they were and I am pretty sure one of the gentlemen was owner of the Wolves. Even from out of the states I am rooting for Garnett to LA." |

| This is just another rumor like all of them. Come on guys, we almost landed Garnett until Boston pulled out. One moment I was excited, and the next moment I was cursing out Danny Ainge. I think we are just going to be let down again. |

| Taylor for China for his honeymoon just before the draft two or three weeks ago. So it might be possible that he is still in that part of world. I haven't heard anything about him returning to the states or being at TWolves summer league games. |

I'm not really sure who 'Momo' is, but how do LTB members always know "Higher-ups" in front offices, or are in foreign countries and spot owners of NBA franchises? It just amazes me.
Can't we all be honest? Do we really need to make stuff up? This is the reason why our hopes go up and down each week in hopes that KG is coming here. There are rumors that are constantly being made up by people who know nothing at all! |

Sounds good Showtime, no disrespect meant to Momo. It sounds like he is legit.
I just get frustrated with others out there who constantly make stuff up. Like that one guy on here who swore he had Cupcake's number and was calling him and his wife....GIVE ME A BREAK.
My bad Showtime, much respect to Momo. |

I ain't been here long, but I have a lot of respect for those of you who have. Show, if you all trust him so do I. I suggest everyone else do the same. There is a big difference between some new guy who never posts talking abut inside sources and someone who has proved their dedication over the years doing it. Regardless of whether this goes down, I'll still take him at his word that he saw and heard what he says. He appears to have earned that respect and those of us who are new here should all strive to one day have earned it too. |

yea i agree with u on that one. lots of people make up bs and lies just to get attention, as for wut momo saids its just a rumor. no ones right or wrong. its just his opinion and thoguht. if he did see a wolves offical in thailand then good for him. people dont have to bleive him if they dont want to.
but its true. i for one always gets my hopes up when a thread abt kg or jo comming opens up only to find out its made up or bogus |

Momo is I believe an older dude. I believe he carries some wisdom we can learn from. He wasn't posting this to get us talking and excited. He posted this because he was excited. He doesn't post much these days but he wanted to share that with us. I can't blame him for that can I? Anyways, for what it's worth I think this deal is a 50% chance of likelihood. I believe Garnett has finally voiced out that he wants Phoenix or LA now that its public he will get traded at some point.
That being said, McHale knows this 3 way trade is the best thing he's gonna get. |

Yeah, I agree with LakerFire24. Everyone for some reason keeps saying they over hear something or they heard it from friends within the organization. Now, I'm not saying those facts are not concrete, but there have been numerous posts about K.G. is coming to L.A and absoutely nothing has happened.
I, like everyone else would love to see this happen. But, until some action is done, then all we can do is hope and speculate.
But hey, let's get KG!!! |

| Boston won't do anything to help the Lakers. Minnesota might because they have to trade Garnett or get nothing. |

| What I hear the Lakers are focused on making a straight trade with minnesota. Boston only makes it more complicates things. |
