Like almost everyone who has ever appeared in or watched an NBA game, Dennis Rodman has an opinion in the Kobe Bryant- LeBron James "who's better?" debate.
He just picked an unusual forum to voice it: the "Judge Jeanine Pirro" syndicated courtroom television show.
During Monday's upcoming show, Rodman sues a friend/assistant for allegedly gambling away $4,000 of Rodman's money in an Atlantic City, N.J., casino. And he was asked the obvious question: Kobe or LeBron?
"That's an easy question," Rodman says. "LeBron, he's more of a power forward. Kobe . . . has basically grown into his skills. I think Kobe has [become] a Michael Jordan of this era because he's very smart, and he knows how to score.
"LeBron is more like. 'Here I come, watch out!' I think LeBron right now is more like a kid, like a freight train. Kobe is better."
For the record, Judge Pirro found Rodman to be a "very deep, very sensitive human being" who is trying "to be a bad boy, but there's a good boy in there."

You certainly couldn't tell Kobe's better than LeBron watching the first few games of the season...
what was wrong with the way kobe played in game one? stop picking him apart. stats dont tell the whole story harry, i would think somebody who understand the game of basketball as well as you do would know that...
the second game though. ohwee. kobe better make up for that monstrosity.

^ I agree with Harry. Not that Im saying that LeBron is better than Kobe. LTB knows my stance on that... Lol
All he's saying is that he's having a better season so far. You cant argue with that.

who said anything about stats? That second game was just very annoying. I kept watching for Kobe to come out and OWN the Mavs in the 2nd half but it didn't happen. Plus stats has been a factor in the 1st two games. Kobe was leading the worst FG% team in the Western Conference with a 37.8 FG%. At that level, stats make all the difference.
But, we saw how he bounced back tonight and did exactly what i thought he would do. Drop 40. The entire time the Lakers had a comfy lead, the only thing on my mind was Kobe stuffing the stat sheet. And he certainly did with so many easy dunks. His defense was very good once again though he did have some bad fouls.

^ He had 5 steals tonight... nice! I missed the game but luckily, I got DVR and ill watch it tonight. I caught like 5 mins of the game in the 3rd Q, and saw we were up by 20, but we only ended up winning by 8.

I liked what i saw with Kobe. He started the game flat like in previous games, then he picked up his intensity as the game progressed. He was probably just rusty after resting all summer. Now he seems to be in form... though he could lay off those TD passes!

" Larry Bird is overrated in a lot of areas. I don't think he's the greatest player. He's way overrated." These derogatory words about Bird, widely acclaimed as the NBA's best or, at worst, second-best player, felt good as they came cascading out. "Why does he get so much publicity?" Rodman continued. "Because he's white. You never hear about a black player being the greatest."
I'm not trying to antagonize anyone, but is Rodman really the best evaluator of talent? It's why I took what Jerry West said a few months ago so seriously. West is a great evaluator of talent; he was a great GM. But Rodman? Was once a great rebounder, sure. But as far as something like this goes? He doesn't have much credibility, in my opinion.
