It's no secret, everyone knows, well, practically everyone, that LA Lakers golden child Andrew Bynam loves cars--correction, he's obsessed with them. As a matter of fact, Bynam wants to become a mechanical engineer and build cars when his basketball glory days are over. So suffice it to say, that the baby-faced, 7-footer not only enjoys driving cars, but he even tinkers with a few of them on weekends. The car afficionado already owns a fiercely tricked-out Yukon Denali that has taken first place at two local car shows. Bynam also owns a customized BMW M-6 convertible and Nissan GT-R that sports a WALD Aero Kit. He has also recently added to his stable of vehicles, a 2010 Chevy Camaro. What's so special about the Camaro? Well, according to TMZ, Bynam's $50,000 whip looks exactly like a bumblebee. WHAT?
The recently turned 22-year-old purchased a 2010 Chevy Camaro 2SS V8 with all the bells and whistles, and then some. Bynam, who is known for straight pimpin' his whips to the max, spared no expense for the Chevy. The baller added a customized body kit and yellow paint job with black racing stripes down the Camaro's hood. The vehicle actually reminds you of Shia LaBeaouf's BFF Bumblebee in the latest Transformers movie.
Now I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Bynam slapped on some Forgiato wheels--NICE!
(Funny how they spelled Bynum's name wrong)
