*=might not be on our team
Lakers' lineup after trade:
PG-Fisher/Farmar/Sun Yue
SG-Kobe/Sasha*/
SF-Artest/Ariza/Walton*/Radmanovic*
PF-Gasol/Tyrus Thomas/Cedric Simmons
C-Bynum/Mihm/Mbenga*
I think we'd be the smart ones in this trade as we would finally solve our "Turiaf situation", as we'd get Tyrus Thomas plus Cedric Simmons just in case of injury or something, and it's not like he sucks and has no potential, in fact...that's not even close to what the Bulls think of him, and that's definitely not what I think of him, not at all! And...do I really need to say much about Artest...I think not! The Bulls probably want to get rid of Hinrich since they drafted Rose despite their need of an offensive big man could've possibly been filled by Beasley and despite Nocioni being gone as well, they'll get what they really need most, a big man who can score in the paint with a dominant post game, plus Odom can score and if Deng re-signs, they won't have to worry, also Odom can play SF as well, so they could work something out...and the Kings, heck, they'd finally be getting rid of Kenny Thomas' contract, plus Artest's craziness, and they'd get Hinrich and Nocioni, and despite the Kings already having Beno Udrih, I'm sure he wouldn't mind being a back-up PG to Hinrich, or they could always put Hinrich at SG, they're team could pull of a fast-tempo, but either way, putting Beno Udrih at back-up PG wouldn't be a bad idea at all, and they could do some lineups with Hinrich at the 2 (SG) and Udrih at the PG position, that's not really all that dumb at all, if you think hard enough!
Why this trade wouldn't work, at all: I highly doubt we wouldn't accept this trade, but the Bulls and the Kings might not be as ecstatic as the Lakers would be with this trade, in fact, they might hate it. Sure, I'm pretty sure that Beno Udrih (Kings) wouldn't mind being the back-up to Hinrich, but would he end up being like Walton, happy that he still has a pretty good role, but feeling betrayed by his team despite playing pretty darn good, good enough to get a pretty lucrative contracts with about 6-mill per year, hmm...now that really sounds like the feelings Luke said he felt before the beginning of the 07-08 season, he might end up playing bad like Fluke did...or he might end up loving the idea and he might end up being worth what he's paid...just like what I think Luke will do this season, Luke and Radmanovic. As for the Bulls...well...they'd lose both Nocioni and Tyrus Thomas, and despite getting Odom and a back-up for Odom to go with him (Kenny Thomas), they'd lose a ton of depth at the SF position if Deng doesn't re-sign or if they can't sign+trade Deng to get a good SF, or something.
Overall, this is definitely a long shot and none of these teams probably won't even think up this trade and discuss it, and even so, there's not a definite that all of the teams in this aquisition would accept this, but hey, it's nice to dream about it, right? |

| I stand by not trading anyone for Lamar. If the small forward thing doesn't work out - then think about a trade in mid-season. For now leave it alone and see what this talented group of guys can do. |

| I know, I was just bored and decided to write this, I agree with you 100%, let's think about a trade only if Odom at the SF position playing the PG role in the Triangle doesn't work out, but if we do want to trade Odom if it doesn't work, then...I'm all for it if Mitch and Phil decide to trade Odom for Artest or something, but guys, I highly doubt we'll trade at all and this may end up like the Jermaine O'Neal situation (wanted to go to Lakers, but ended up going through a season with Pacers, and is now in Toronto practicing with the Raptors' roster, or...doing something else...), but hey...that's just my thoughts on the current situation. |

| Keep Lo. Although that trade is intriguing. Thomas has so much potential. |

| Are you kidding me with this trade? If I'm the Bulls I think that I'm talking to a crank caller, not an NBA GM. The Bulls are not willing to screw themselves this badly. It's an absolute no-brainer for the Bulls to laugh this one off. Nice try, but it's not happening. |

I disagree respectfully with iskerfan, lakerfan365 and jbully though it does need tweeking ... i like this trade better.............
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... &cash=
Lakers: we get artest and tyrus thomas and a back up big man in moore and tyrus can be like lo we also save cap space to sign bynum to his extention
pg- D-fish_Farmar
sg-kobe_sasha
sf-Artest_luke_Radman
pf-gasol_tyrus_Radman
c-Bynum_mikki_ and maybe sign kwame
c-
kings:this is the best they are going to get for artest i mean the absolute best they can get they get a talented pg and sf they would have a decent team
pg- Kirk-beno
sg-Keven-salmons
sf-nocioni-garcia
pf- spencer hawes-sheldon williams-kenny
c-brad_Lorenzen Wright_Jason Thompson
Bulls:they get lo, a back up 7ft center mihm and pf/c in shreef and a young talented sf in ariza and all players have only one year or 2 years left also 20 mill comes off books at the end of the year
Pg-D rose-ben gordan- jameson curry
sg-Hughes-thabo jameson curry-gordan
sf-deng_ariza
pf-lamar odom-drew gooden-Shareef Abdur-Rahim
c-noah-gooden-mihm
so thats my idea i think all three teams get a fair trade and have good resons to make the trade!!! |

| KBT4MRINGS, I think that's a pretty satisfying compromise, we get Artest, Tyrus to back-up Gasol,Nocioni, and Mikki Moore to back-up Bynum, while the Kings get Hinrich and Nocioni, two guys who can shoot, plus Hinrich can also defend well and play SG, and for the Bulls, they get some future in Odom and Ariza, and we'd only have 3 SF's, Artest, Walton and Radmanovic, I think it's genius, just genius KBT$MRINGS! |
