| I could see Chicago wanting to make a run at Wade in 2010. They might bite on an offer of Odom and Farmar for Hinrich and Nocioni. |

| VU- I heard the Bulls liked Drew Gooden though...why would they want Odom then? And why do the Bulls need Wade if they just picked Rose? |

They would want Odom for the expiring 14.1 million dollars. Rose is a really pure point guard, teaming him up with a great scorer would be lethal. A Rose-Wade backcourt would probably be the best backcourt in the league. |

| Cyclone said the Bulls like Gooden and are not looking to take players to cut money right now. They are trying to win now which means they will be capped out and wont be able to make a realistic run at Wade. |

Well, I've read a lot of articles. They all say that Chicago is looking to move one of their well-paid guards. |

| Yeah they will move them but not to the lakers. If they dont want Odom we have really nothing else to trade for Hinrich with. |

| Even if they aren't hot on Odom, I don't see why they'd pass up such a great chance to get rid of one of their guards. |

| VU- I would love to see the trade with the Bulls happen...but I would think other teams have better players to offer the Bulls then Odom. I dont think the lakers will do anything big unless they have to...I think Mitch and the FO want to see how the team plays all together first. |

lol, yea Arenas is gonna take give up a huge 100+ million contract that nets him around 19 million annually, to sign with the lakers for around 5 million a year? Get real man. Honestly, come up with some actual, realistic FA signings. Not the ones you got on your NBA Dream Team. Got, I swear, so many people are just living in a dream. |

Never going to happen.
But, at least, you didn't create a new trade thread like many do. You posted it where it belonged. I'll give you credit for that.

haha, thanks...I figured there would be an appropriate place to put random thoughts like that. I'm on a car forum a lot (nasioc), and I'm the one doing a lot of the flaming when it comes to useless new threads by a bunch of newbs. |

| why do the Lakers need to make any trades? We went to the Finals and took the team that was best in the league, wire to wire, to seven games. And we are getting back, as Greg Anthony called him, the #1 draft pick this year cuz Bynum is better than any player in the draft and I agree. So why not keep all the pieces and see how it works |

| Melo? areyou serious? did you see how he played this past post season against the lakers? Denver absolutely has NO defense except for camby. IMO melo sucks balls when it comes to him being a leader. he gets the ball...has the same damn move every single friggen time and makes like 20% of em'.......NEXT! |

Even though at times lamar gets a brain explosion, and does some sort of hero move, where he will pretend he is gonna do a cross over & just take a horrible long jumper - he does bring defense & passing to the table.
Two attributes which our offense relys on, which someone like melo wouldnt fit in with. Yeah he seems like a fan favourite and all that, but why would u want melo... |
