| I don't think Melo would fit into our team, he is used to being the go to guy and it was tough enough for him to adjust with Iverson, let alone Kobe, Bynum, Gasol... |

| he likes keeping the ball in his hands to eventually make a move, we need quick decisions or ball movement in the triangle. Plus, he's not a great defensive player. |

| Why would melo be a good fit for us. He wants to be the guy. He dosen't play to great of d and dosen't have a good work ethic. I think melo could be a really good rebounder if he tried because of his jumping ability, height and body to box people out. |

I don't think we should trade for anyone right now, but if we must, I think the only thing that makes sense is Melo. He is a misfit in Denver. Just like KG, no one gives him his respect. Now how about those Duncan? Where are they now?
Anthony is a great player that hasn't really spread his wings properly. I thought Iverson would have been a good match up, but for some reason it just hasn't worked.
Bring Carmelo to L.A. (I don't mean the Clippers.) |

| No way. Definitely no on Carmarshmallow Anthony. We don't need more scorers, we do need more defense! |

| jay_22: You're looking at the offensive side of things. In the Finals are defense was clearly the weakness there with Vlad and Luke getting blown by each time as if they were wearing those brand new Nike Lead sneakers. Melo won't help us defensively in my opinion too many bad habits learned on his own and from AI. We need a more subtle tweak, someoen like a Pietrus or Azubuike in my opinion or if Ariza can get a jumper so teams can't play off of him. I would like them to keep it in house and hope that Ariza can get that consistent jump shot. |

Umm. Wow; another post for the sake of posting.
C'mon really?!
You lost all credibility when you said interior D. Melo's biggest knock has been his lack of D.
I don't mean to be rude, but this was pretty dumb when it is clear the Lakers would have NO shot at him. Another one to file into the "let's get this untouchable player" cabinet. |
