| I say no more trades, unless it is an amazing trade that we can't pass on. |

| I agree...this is the one that puts us at the top! Just glad Mitch didn't listen to all the folks wanting Kidd so bad. Gasol will help waaaaay more than Kidd. Specially, while Andrew recovers. |

But what about Odom?
What happens to him when Bynum comes back?
Does he go to SF?
We'd be loaded at SF then.
Odom, Ariza, Radmonovic, and Walton?
Idk about that |

odom and luke for an expiring contract in jamison gives us an unstoppable lineup. plus the 16mil we drop from our cap gives us the chance to sign elton brand and have him come off the bench next year
fisher, kobe, jamison, gasol, bynum Bench: farmar sasha, ariza/vlad, turiaf/brand that gives us best starting 5 the nba has seen in a very long time and also again one of the best benches in the NBA |

We can put him at SF, and put Vlad-Rad back at PF or we can have him come off the bench for Gasol and have Ariza start at SF. |

| I am not sure if this would work out. It lines up in terms of salaries. However, I think that this would make sense for both teams, assuming that we throw in someone like vujacic. For the Bucks they get Odom who comes off the books after next season, and also allows them to be just about as competetive as they were with Redd. They also get Vujacic, who is a shooter that could replace Redd. The Lakers become the most dangerous team in the league offensively. I know that some might say that we sacrafice too much defense, but look at the Celtics this year. Before this year Pierce and Allen were not good defenders. When a superstar no longer has to carry the load of a team, they have the ability to become a better defensive player. I think that a lineup of Fisher Redd Kobe Gasol and Bynum would run away with the title for the next few years. I know that he chemistry would shake the team up, but I am thinking for years down the line not just this season. I think this is a realistic trade that should be explored. |

| Umm, how about no...trades should be done for this team...with Kobe, Bynum, Gasol, Odom, & Fisher as the starting 5, what team can compete with that...Redd would be a bench player, and the Lakers already have the best bench in the league...why change what already works... |

we are already one of the best offensive teams in points per game and field goal percentage!!!
Now we just got to step it up defensively!!! We don't need anymore shooters!!!
Offense was never a problem the last couple of years, it was the D that killed us!! |

Lakers Get: Jason Terry and Eric Dampier and 1st round draft pick in '08
Mavs Get:Mihm,Farmar,Vuajic, and Vlad
Now in this trade were gettin another great backcourt scorer and a decent back-up center. Yes Vuajic is havin a great year but after this year we wont be able 2 sign both Turiaf and Vuajic the way they are playin. Yes farmar will prolly b a great PG in the NBA but i think Terry will always have an edge over him, and Mihm is jus garbage cant count on him 2 even play 20games a year, and Vlad which will be a great way 2 get rid of his contract... what does every1 think about this? good idea or NO?[/u] |

Why!?!?! People just really understand bball soemtimes... WE ARE GOOD AS IS!!!
Once Bynum and Ariza come back also its even gonna be better. Enough with trade talks, just like Kobe said its time to "gel together" and "walk the walk" We dont need to do anything else this year. |

| Redd a bench player. He averages 24 points a game. There is no one better that you would get for Odom. Vujacic is a nice player who has the ability to get hot for stretches, but he does not compare to the abilities of Redd. |

| I am just saying it would improve our transition game which I think might be our only issue with all of our size. |

| Bad Idea...Farmar is one of the Lakers untouchable players...and Jason Terry isn't a PG, he's a SG...who would be in the backcourt after that trade...Fisher, Kobe, & Terry...nah...the team looks very good the way it is already... |

Look. A LOT of others teams are pissed off with the Lakers with the Gasol trade. Many other FO were trying to get him too. It'll be really hard to make any more trades. No one wants to see the Lakers succeed anymore. NO one wants to help the Lakers anymore than Memphis has already done.
It'll be tough to make any more trades.... |

Where is he gonna start...the SF position...he's a shooter, but I'd rather have Odom or Ariza starting as the Lakers SF... |

| this is whats wrong with the NBA, u have bunch of Bench players starting for teams and averaging 24ppg and getting paid franchise player money. That's what you call overrated. if you take Redd out and put in Kobe, Milwaukee would be one of the best teeams in the East. And Redd is basically Vujacic with freedom to shoot. |

| Okay well that is a ridiculous comparison. If you take Jamal Crawford out of New York and put Lebron there then they would probably be good too. You can't say things like that. The Bucks are a finesse team who relies too much on outside shooting to win games. Think the Warriors with less talent and heart. They have two big men who are both finesse players Bogut and Villanueva. However, Michael Redd is debatedly the best shooter in the NBA. All I am saying is that he would be deadly with the amount of open shots he would get on this team. Odom is expendable and if you have the ability to get the best shooter in the NBA for an expendable piece then you jump on that. |
