pj brown is a free agent now and is thinking of retiring so thats last years salary. duhon is looking for a long term deal which im not sure if minny is looking for something like that, but we would definitely get the best of that deal. its just not possible.

laker's send Vladimir Radmanovic, Brian cook, Lamar Odom and Jordan Farmar to the timberwolves and also send Andrew Bynum and kwame Brown to the Nuggets.

The nuggets send Marcus Camby to the laker's and the timberwolves send (Mark Blount or Troy Hudson) large contract and Kevin Garnett to the Lakers.

Sending Brown to the Nuggets gives them the expiring contract that the seek to get in return for Camby and also gives them a young center that can possibly fill his shoes in the future and be able to team up with melo and A.I.

The Timberwolves would get some young talent in Cook, Farmar, Radmanovic and Odom would be able to put up some KG like numbers because the majority of the offense would be ran through him. Because the Timberwolves are getting the least amount of talent I think it would be possible that the Nuggets can send Steve Blake to them in a sign and trade but more likely get the laker's future draft picks and/or players that were drafted this year such as Marc Gasol, Sun Yue that can help them in the near future.

In response to dropping 3 roster spots We can sign Fisher with the mid-level exception and also give Webber the veteran exception which will give us a decent big man who can pass the ball and give some quality minutes off the bench. Then resign Mihm to a reduced contract because he can give quality minutes off the bench as well This would leave the team with a starting lineup that would like this Fisher, Kobe, Walton, KG, Camby and off the bench it would leave Crittenton, Evans, Vujacic, Turiaf, (Blount/Hudson), Webber and Mihm.

The combination of Fisher and Walton knowing how to run the Triangle offense and the scoring of Kobe and KG would be enough of a solid day after day offense. That combination of scoring would be plenty because of the very strong defense that the laker's would now obtain with Kobe being able to go back to the lock down defender we all know he can be because he will not have to carry the entire offensive load and KG and Camby are two outstanding defensive players in their own right.

As a result of all these moves we would most likely be put over the luxury tax threshold but that would only cause a problem for 1 year. It would only really be a problem for one year because if KG likes his first year in the gold and purple he can opt out of his contract and resign at a greatly reduced price. I think it is a very good possibility that he would entertain this idea because he is a very loyal person and he wants to win a championship now that hes got all the money he needs. If that did happen the laker's would not be in trouble of having to go dollar for dollar two years in a row because of the luxury tax.

    http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=4093354 (with Hudson in trade)

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=4093375 (with Blount in the trade)

    * As you can see both of these trades work money wise and as for production the laker's get the least amount of it the Nuggets and the Timberwolves both gain in pretty much all stats overall.

Now your lineup has centers playing SFs and we will be terribly slow coming back on defense. We will have 4 natural centers, 3 power forwards who can play center and all the rest are guards. Nobody can run the triangle, and nobody can shoot. Not a good idea.

is getting garnett worth that much? i mean. i understand we have critt. but giving up farmar. as well as bynum.. and then still add lo...i mean i don't care much for rad nor cook..but then you throw in odom and kwame..sounds kind of dumb if it happens. they're better off keeping the trades as small as possible. and adding sasha/cook/rad.. to make a trade happen. all 3 who are under achieving in the lakers.

correction..trade wouldn't be so bad.. i just realized that camby would be coming to lakers...and he would help us out. but still think lakers should give up less

No one is going to want sasha and cook giving up brown and odom and bynum is worth it really as Kobe really doesnt want bynum on the team he don't want to wait for him to grow into the great player he eventually will. Brown is slow getting back on defense and with that trade you add KG who is great on defense can guard any for the top centers or PF in the west and Camby is the raining defensive player of the year. Odom will never prosper in the shadows of Kobe KG would be the perfect player that would let Kobe take over and be the 2ed man hes not worried about being number 1 just worried about winning. Camby does not look for his offense really only concentrates on defense which is what we lack right now with brown and odom.

He probably came up with it himself. The Laker fans come up with better deals than any of the FO of either team. We can only hope that Mitch reads this and use our suggestions. But that is very unlikely.

LakerWarriorInLA I came up with it all by myself I wish that it would really happen as I truly think that if it went through we would be up to that next level we seek to obtain once again which is being the top 3 team in the west. It all really came about just fiddling around with trade possibilities and looking at what teams what and are trying to get rid of the nuggets want to dump camby in a sense for a expiring contract and young talent and that is what they get in that trade.

Call Mitch and tell him you have the answer to his prayers. I doubt if he'll listen though. He is hell bent to destroy this team.

LOL don't we all wish we could have an inside source to convey our ideas to the FO if Kobes website was up the things could get leaked to him through his webmaster but its all very slim chances of happening

Turiaf cannot play SF. He will have heart attack chasing LeBron James.

No one but Kobe would actually be guarding lebron James. The way it would work would be kobe would guard their best pg,sg or sf and KG would guard the better of the two bigs. You have to admit Turiaf at 6"9 runs the floor pretty well and is a bundle of energy for the minutes he plays no matter what hes doing whether its dancing around on the bench or make clutch defensive stops.

Yes but that scene suggests Turiaf will now be guarding the 2 guard. On-court stroke?

Every defense has its holes in match ups thats the game. When you have camby and KG locking down the two bigs and kobe locking down the best guard your going to be doing pretty well on defense overall. Turiaf gets it done really no matter who hes trying to guard on defense and if its really a problem you bring in Mo who is a quality defender.

If Mitch and the keystone cops can pull off something this complicated then the question would be...what's he been waiting for?
KG and Camby on our team...yeah it's a nice dream but has no basis in reality.
