Wow its weird that we have so many new forum subjects. Anyways, Al Harrington has fired his agent due to not completing the trade to Indiana prompt enough. This now means Al could be headed to another team all together now. Could it be the Lakers?

| again this is probably one of those moves we make where i'll accept al with open arms and if not, i'll still be content with what we have. he is very talented though and would give us more depth. |

| Yeah, if we can find a way to package Mihm, maybe even cook although I like him, Mckie (who should be thrown in for the hell of it) We should be the favorites in the west.....although as long as Kobe's alive, they'll find a way to hate..... |

| All I can say is if Atlanta wants Mihm, McKie, and Cookie -- then by all means possible get them on the redeye to Atlanta straight away! I can check next available bookings! Atlanta wants a cherry on top. Fine, give 'em our #1, it won't mean much 'cause we'll be deep in the playoffs! |

Possilble warrior three way trade.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/s ... index.html
According to two league sources, the Warriors have revived discussions with three teams on a multiple-player swap, with the principal parts involving Mike Dunleavy Jr. going to the Clippers, Corey Maggette to Denver and Joe Smith to Atlanta, with the Warriors getting Al Harrington.

SF Chronicle story in full:
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... KM7S61.DTL
A summer that has been low-key for the Warriors, at least in the results department, could be getting a lot more conspicuous beginning this week.
Guard Jason Richardson is scheduled to undergo surgery on his left knee Tuesday in Los Angeles, according to a source familiar with the situation. The clean-up procedure is not considered to be a major one, and Richardson is expected to be back in time for training camp in October.
Golden State's leading scorer has been bothered by knee problems since last preseason, when he skipped the Warriors' final two practices before their regular-season opener. An MRI exam taken on the left knee at the time revealed no structural damage, and Richardson vowed to play through the pain.
He started 41 straight games until a back injury forced him out for a week, but by the end of March, Richardson's right knee had begun bothering him and he missed three of the Warriors' final seven games.
A team spokesperson would not confirm the surgery, and vice president Chris Mullin did not return calls for comment. Any extended layoff for Richardson would be a huge blow to the Warriors, who traded backup guard Derek Fisher to the Jazz last month and are relying on injury-prone Baron Davis to stay healthy.
Meanwhile, Golden State appears to have received yet another lifeline in its pursuit of Al Harrington. The Hawks' forward is still on the market, despite switching agents from Andy Miller to Arn Tellem, after a sign-and-trade deal between Atlanta and Indiana reportedly was nixed by Pacers ownership.
According to two league sources, the Warriors have revived discussions with three teams on a multiple-player swap, with the principal parts involving Mike Dunleavy Jr. going to the Clippers, Corey Maggette to Denver and Joe Smith to Atlanta, with the Warriors getting Harrington.
Though it would be a thorny transaction to meet salary-cap requirements, Tellem represents both Harrington and Dunleavy. A similar multi-team deal was discussed in Las Vegas during the summer league, according to one of the sources.
Another potential snag, however, appears to be the status of Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy Sr., a main proponent of the team's interest in Dunleavy Jr.. The coach is entering the final year of his contract and would like an extension after guiding his team to the Western Conference semifinals.
Briefly: Bill Duffy, whose agency represents Kosta Perovic, said he anticipated the Warriors to make a decision on their second-round pick in the next few weeks. Perovic, who is playing for Serbia and Montenegro in the FIBA World Championships in Japan, will remain under contract with his Serbian club team unless Golden State negotiates a buyout and brings Perovic to training camp.
The Warriors have 15 players with guaranteed contracts for next season. The league limit is 15, with 12 active at a time. |

Hi! I don't follow GSW so I really can't say. I usually ignore them because they usually can be ignored safely.
What surprises me, is the talk of Dunleavy Jr. going to the Clips, for Maggette to Denver, for Joe Johnson to Atlanta. Besides the problems mentioned in the article, the deal is a STEAL for Denver and Atlanta.
The Clips, however, get shafted, I wonder if Donald Sterling can take any more heat than he has already brought upon himself.
Oh, in this scenario, GSW comes out smelling like roses |

I don't believe that GSW will get the deal done, because it smells like home cooking to me. |

Well, I could be wrong. But, the Pacer deal looked better and better thru the night, as I contemplated what the Pacers were offering and what we are anybody else could offer.
The Pacer deal made more sense from Atlanta's, Tellems/Harringtons, and the Pacers perspective than ANY deal discussed yesterday for the three teams named in the article. |

Why would Atlanta do that deal??
Mihm...Cook...McKie is the best offer I've heard out there. They'd be stupid to turn that down from all of the offers.
Joe Smith??!! Are you kidding?!

I was reading on SI.Com that the SF paper is reporting that there is a three wayer in the works...Mike Dunleavy Jr. going to the Clippers, Corey Maggette to Denver and Joe Smith to Atlanta, with the Warriors getting Al Harrington.
Don't know the truth to that one....I am sure JamFam knows the scope of the deal. |
