It was funny watching Shaq's introduction to the Cavs on ESPN. There really wasn't much excitement (only maybe for Cleveland fans). Why would there be any excitement anyways? We've heard it before in Phoenix when he joined Nash and the Suns...promising them he'd bring them a ring. Now his new motto is "Win a ring for the King". I still love the Big Fella, but he needs to stop these remarks basically ensuring that team he's going to bring them a championship. Shaq WAS the most dominating center in the league. I believe Superman 2.0 (Howard) is taking over the throne.
The Artest going to L.A. story completely overshadowed Shaq's entrance. It's was the top story in every major sports channel and website. That's because experts are now saying that L.A. is even better now with Artest. I'm sorry Big Fella, but your days are done. You will still go down as one of the greatest centers of all time...but in this day and age...the glory belongs to the Los Angeles Lakers. |

| As good as Dwight is, Shaq was so much better in his prime. |

Agreed. In his prime, Shaq was so dominate. But let's face it...he's going to be 36. His prime ended when he won his last championship with Miami. After that it went downhill. And it's going to continue with the Cavs. |

I thought Shaq was 37 this March. Isn't he going to be 38 next year? I think he'll be 38 when Cleveland starts the playoffs. |

| He is 37 right now. I agree that Shaq is way better than Dwight during his prime. |

| Better than Dwight during his prime????????????????????? Dwight Howard is 23 years old. His prime wont even come to pass for another 5 - 7 years. Lets watch Dwight rip baskets out of backboards for the next half of a decade then voice our opinions. |

| I would make the argument that Dwight is in his prime right now, and that prime won't last very long. The guy relies on his athleticism too much. Once that athleticism is gone, I don't think he will really be a force. |
