| I think he'll be back. It's not like they need to fork out a fortune to keep him and I'm thinking Mitch is still trying to trade Farmar. |

shannon was scouted by us personally at LTB to be the next ariza.... some no name coming from a trade to provide a spark for us from the bench... and that's what he's been... or at least was before the playoffs.. he really got scorched by d-will in the utah series and pretty much never rebounded from that (kinda ours and the media's fault for blowing the matchup of those 2 out of proportion)
i think brown now has the edge over farmar as the next point guard for the lakers.... simply because farmar had major pluses when ariza was out there and worked very well with him on the floor....... but with ariza gone, farmar's going to knocked down a peg or two...
i think brown works very well with (surprise) luke.... what brown lacks in knowledge with running the team while at PG, luke makes up for it with his years of experience with the lakers and the triangle offense |

| I believe Shannon will be back. He honestly has a team that he likes and feels comfortable with. Besides, I think he felt honored that Phil was giving him some playing time in the playoffs and he was able to win a ring. |

I certainly would like to see Shannon back too, but those words are oh so familiar **cough cough, Ariza??**. I guess it all depends on whether Mitch will make an offer for him or if some other team has their sights set on him. After yesterday's rollercoaster ride, I'm not counting anything out. |

Yeah.. I feel the same way.
He should definitely be easy to resign.. and I honestly wouldnt be surprised if Farmar was dealt. |

| I think they will keep Shannon Brown and Morrison. I think they might try to trade Sasha for another shooting guard. IF they can find somebody that might want to trade for Sasha. |

I was thinking All Star break weekend or something if he doesn't get his shot back. That's more than enough time. |

Well Shannon is a Restricted Free Agent so im believing Mitch would match any offer for him. I think hes just waiting for any other team to make a move. I don't think Shannon is wanted by many anyways, even though hes like a hidden gem.

| Keep Shannon, tell him to improve his shot, because for the last freakin' time, he is not a pg. I feel nervous when he is trying to handle the ball because he can't. at all. I love his attitude and his energy though. If he can start burying the wide open three, that would be awesome. Please don't compare him to Ariza though- Shannon did pretty much nothing in the playoffs. Trev stepped his game up. But to be fair, Shannon didn't see much pt as the playoffs went on. |

| Trade him and the whole bench mob for a good PG. Bench players are a dime a dozen. |

| I just wish Vujacic had some trade value. Next year he'll be much more easily traded because of his expiring contract, otherwise the Lakers are stuck with this guy for 2 more years. Farmar and Morrison can be dealt because they both have expiring contracts next year. "The Machine" is just dead weight. |

Sasha and Walton are DEAD WEIGHTS sinking the Lakers. But no one wants these two overpaid players on their team. Mitch pulled a booboo on these two bums. |

| The Lakers tended Shannon Brown the qualifying offer which is the minimum he can be paid by our team. By giving him the qualifying offer we made him a restricted free agent. If another team comes along and offers him a contract. We have a certain amount on time like a week or 10 days to match the offer to keep our player. Whatever that amount might be we would have to pay it. Turiaf got a 4 million a year offer from Golden State and we didnt want to pay him so he is a warrior in Oakland now. If no team makes him an offer, Shannon Brown plays for us for the one year deal that is on the table for him right now. I am pretty sure his agent is out there trying to get his client an increase in salary. How much is Shannon Brown worth and how much is too much to pay him???? That number cant probably be more than 1.5 mil. He is our 3rd string point guard. |

I have a good feeling about Shannon. He is the third string guard but he should get the bulk of the minutes at point.
But let Fish start and finish.
Farmar does not fit well with the triangle, he would thrive in a run and gun offense. He impressed me at the rookies vs sophomore game last year. |
