ESPN says that the KG to L.A. trade is dead. But I doubt that it is. Remember everyone, it's not over until its over. ANYTHING can happen until draft day.
The ONLY way KG goes to PHX is if Marion agrees to go to Boston. But, he said that he doesnt want to go to Boston. But if Boston can somehow trade for JO, I think Marion may think twice and Paul Pierce will be happy. Imagine Pierce, JO, and Marion! They would be the new beast of the East! Like I said though, Marion has to want to go to Boston, which I doubt he will.
McHale, in my opinion has to trade KG. He knows KG will opt out next year and he'd rather get something now, then get nothing later. Problem is McHale is just as retarded as Kupcake. He wants all draft picks, with a couple of okay players. The Minny franchise is a mess as well. What the hell are draft picks going to do with the losers he has on the team now? And don't tell me Juan Howard is going to make a difference, because it won't!
I am hearing that the Bobcats are willing to be the other team to work out a trade with the Lakers and Minny. This is good news as it gives us a glimmer of hope that KG may still land in L.A.
Mitch NEEDS to pull off this trade, or at least for JO. Because getting no one will be the end of him as the Lakers GM. But it can also spell the end for Kobe's career as a Laker as he will leave. All the pressure is on Mitch
right now and he KNOWS it too!!!
Mitch knows that the Lakers franchise rests on his shoulders to get something done. Keep some enthusiasm up people! These are our Lakers...keep the hope up!!!
GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

If we dont land KG, we HAVE to land JO. There is no other guy that can help Kobe and the franchise. Artest is a good player, but I doubt the Lakers will be a better team because of him. And as for Gasol...the Lakers aren't even interested.
As you can see, Kupcake only has an eye for CBA calibur players and NOT NBA calibur players |

You can thank kobe for the garnett trade not being completed. Everything was going great until garnett contacted kobe to see if he would back off his trade demands if garnett came to L.A. Then the next thing you know the trade talks between the lakers and wolves are dead.
THANKS KOBE |

| IF Kobe really held this up, I really must look at him differently. I have always backed Kobe he is my favorite player and the best in the world. Im really getting sick of everything surrounding him. i was with him on Dr. buss lying to him and the whole Shaq saga. If he really held this up by not committing to KG, then he doesn't really want to win. Adding KG would be a giant piece, and we could add some more role players. We may not win this season, but would have a great chance for the next few seasons |

| If Phoenix gives up Amare, which is what either atlanta or wolves would want, this doesnt make their team any better. They are mainly doing this so KG doesnt go to L.A. Phoenix sucks. |

| Dude kobe didn't screw this up. Don't start that crap. Stop blaming every damn thing on kobe. He was with kg yesterday. And it was reported that after they hung out kobe backed of his trade demands a bit. So don't start with that kobe did it S@*T again. |

| I love Kobe, but I heard the same thing. I heard that KG contacted him and KB24 let him know how crappy the management is and all the crap the Buss' family did to him. |

^^^ I totally agree with you there. Only prob is Jerry wants his kids to take over. I personally would rather give it to Jeanie than Jim. Jim DOES NOT know what he's doing.
Remeber, none of this would of ever happened ONLY IF the front office made some trades or aquired another star last year or 2 yrs ago. |
