i have to say that none of the above is possible. billups and wallace are going to make around the 10 mil dollar range and boykins is too little for phils liking.

Yeah Billups is too pricey as is Wallace. Getting Boykins.......that sounds like a pretty tall order! lol. He is just too small.

Thank you Nic. So Nic what is your honest opinion on the KG trade? Do you think we are going to get him, or do you think not. Do you think the Suns are going to make a late run at him?

i cant see the suns giving up amare to get him, which is what the twolves want form the suns. i say its 50/50 if we get him or not. its hard to make deals when players make 20 plus mil a year. but im still optimistic that we can get something done.

PHO would be stupid to give up Amare for KG...although I could see them doing that just to trump us

Being optomistic is all we got right now. I actually have a good feeling about this getting done. I think the TWolves finally see that they need to rebuild and get young, which took them some time! I hope we really do make the effort to make this happen! |

I think that is a good move. I like the fact that we are trying to make Kobe stay. I mean if we do pull the KG deal and Kobe still wants to leave then he will look like the bad guy in this. I think that Kobe should apologize to us fans and the the Lakers if he stays and we get KG. He owes us that much.

I can kind of understand Kobe's thinking though. The ultimate goal for a team is to win a championship. Kobe has been there doing what he could to help this team get there for the past 4 years. Management and owners or lack there of have not made it their priority to go after the needed guys to make the Lakers better. Lets face it the Lakers are a great offensive team but defense wins championships guys. I say make the trade for KG GET ARTEST he is all about defense and a no brainer. I think with those 2 guys in place and luther head coming in we will be right there in the mix.
