How about this trade?

Is this one good?
Or would we be giving up too much?

We would be giving up too much, too much salary. Sacto wants to be player in the free agency markets in the upcoming two years. No way in hell would they take Walton and Radmanovic. |

| Certainly would not be sorry to see Space Balls go under any circumstances. Luke - would like to wait and see how he comes back from surgery. Kenny Thomas - any trade including him is a deal-breaker for me! |

| Before any of u chop me down again, Im a Laker fan till I die no matter who we have on the team but we dont need that contract of Kenny Thomas on our payroll that the MaGOOFS want to put on us. If MITCH worked his magic last season for Pau Gasol Im sure he can work his voodoo magic again. I love the idea for Artest to be a Laker and that he wants to play with Kobe and he likes Phil Jackson. Now Odom, he is always going to his left, he's 6'10" and doesnt dunk on hardly anyone. He likes to lay it in instead. He's doesnt attack the rim like us Laker fans would want him too. True he can handle the ball, rebound, and pass, but we need someone who can do that but attack the rim as well. He's been tutored by James Worthy, Scottie Pippen, and Magic and still cant get it right. I say we wait till next year to make a run at Artest but STILL trade Odom NOW for someone else like Pippen, I mean McGRADY. NOW before yall rage war on me again, I know yall have heard of the trade talks with McGRADY'S name. Im only making a suggestion. Houston could use Odom. I think he would play well with Yao. The idea I have is to trade Odom and Radmanovic OR Odom and Walton for McGRADY. I would love to see Kobe SG, McGrady SF, and Gasol PF in the triangle together. I want Sun Yue to be signed by the Lakers this offseason but if Houston likes the idea and wants Sun Yue to be included to play with Yao then they must give us a future draft pick or picks, cash, a rookie, or even a solid vet to make the trade even. KEEP IN MIND THAT I WAS FURIOUS LIKE U ALL WERE THAT WE LOST TO THE CELTICS. I ONLY WANT WHATS BEST FOR THE LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Does this trade sound better? Let me know but remember Im not the enemy. Trade Odom and Radmanovic OR Odom and Walton for McGRADY. | Now u got me upset! U must not have heard about the trade rumors of McGrady to Detroit, or was I the only one that heard that. If Detroit lands McGrady DONT say I didnt tell u so. Now u call me stupid but if I would have said last year that the Lakers should trade Kwame Brown for Pau Gasol, u would have have said I was stupid as well. The fact is U dont know what could happen!!!!!!!!!!! and NO I wouldnt include farmer. Do me a favor, G F Y S!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Nay511, first of all, McGrady is nothing like Scottie Pippen, he's not defensive minded, never seen the Triangle. McGrady is a scorer who needs the ball in his hands.
2nd, how would Odom fit well in Houston??????? Odom is passive and isn't the explosive scoring SG/SF houston needs to pair up with yao. There is no way Houston would trade Odom plus Rad or Fluke or whoever for McGrady. NO WAY. We're definitely not giving them anything near equal value and not something they need either. |

| This is for the person who doesnt know who Chick Hearn is. He was the Legendary Lakers commentator. The best ccmmentator in sports history with phrases like: "Magic has eyes in the back of his head he just put the defender in the popcorn machine!!!" And if the Lakers were winning late in the fourth quarter he would say: "THIS BALLGAME IS IN THE REFRIGERATOR!!!!!!!!! THE DOOR IS CLOSED THE LIGHT IS OUT, THE EGGS ARE COOLIN, THE BUTTER'S GETTING HARD AND THE JELLO'S JIGGLIN!!!!!!" DUDE KNOW YOUR LAKER HISTORY |

Could you guys please cut the crap! This forum is supposed to be a place to throw out ideas regardless of if some of us may regard those ideas as being far-fetched, or naive, or whatever. There is no need to insult, get angry or anything else - if not agreed with somebody, then gently chide him, not lambast him and get personal!
As for the newcomers, don't be so thin skinned about things! This is not a contest about who can spit farther! |

The Lakers have enough big men. Remenber we made it to the finals without Bynum. So, take out Turiaf and add in Bynum!!!!!!!!!! It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. I dont think u did well in school. Oh yeah there are some productive young big men in the summer league that we could sign as well!!!!!!!!!! |

| This is for HARRY. I think Odom can help out Yao on the boards and he can also stretch the floor for Yao not clogging the lane so Yao can do more damage inside. Houston has limited big men. |

For one stop posting in caps and telling people they should be banned, you are being really annoying. And we do need a big man, cuz we are losing 2 bigmen if lamar is playing SF we only have one PF in Pau. And we don't know if Mihm is 100% so it would be nice to have a vet who will crash the boards and play defense. And Gmoney fall to there level and start negative repping people its dumb |
