After speaking with several people associated with the team, it seems to be a done deal to Martin McNeal of the Sacramento Bee that either Ron Artest or Mike Bibby will be traded this offseason.

The Kings reportedly came close to dealing Bibby in February.

Definately going to be a great addition. I can't wait!!! Lakers need a guy like Artest... PJ will be pretty good at controlling him in the locker room as well. If you can control Rodman, you can control just about anyone in the NBA... I think it helps that Artest and Kobe are good friends as well..

lakers really need a guy like artest if they're planning on trading away odom. i think it'd be better for walton to come off of the bench and not be a starter

hopefully the lakers are going to be the team he gets traded to and not the heat.

yup, we have done it in the past, hopefully mangement wakes up and takes advantage of all the players we have a chance of getting and make a move.

I don't hear the Lakers even expressing interest in him yet. Miami has beat them to the punch. I just hope Mitch is brought back to life so he can make some moves.

Knowing Kupchuck, he will probly nix the deal for RonRon because they want the rights to Von Wafer. Until the Lakers sack Kupchuck, we are all wasting our time. It is fun blogging with you guys, but I suspect that Kupchuck will break your hearts with his pathetic decisionmaking.
