| Leon Powe was desperately needed in that quarter, the Celts came out ice cold, except for Pierce. |

| Is it supposed to be on TNT? The only game I can find right now is Boston and Cleveland. This is a very sloppy game btw, but what do you expect, first game of the season. |

No, it's on the local networks... |

Rondo's being bumped around like a rag doll.
This Cavaliers team is a bit hard to read. Mo Williams and Delonte West? They seem to have so many pieces but no obvious plan on how to make them fit.
Celtics are only getting better as this game progresses. Rust is already starting to come off. |

The champs are starting to get into form.
Also, the Cavalier offense appears to be stagnant. |

Rondo's hit the ground hard about 2 or 3 times already. He needs a helmet. |

Ugh, this game has all of the signs of running long....
Meaning that we'll miss the beginning of Lakers-Blazers... |

Sucks, but I wouldn't mind watching an OT loss for the Celtics.
Anyway, I don't think the Cavs can pull this off. Something about the body language that gives the edge to the Celtics.
78-82, Celtics with 2:56 to go in the 4th. |

Williams proving to be more adept in the clutch than James himself...
This one is shaping up like Game 7 (Cavs-Celts) last year. The Cavs play well, but then just fall at the end. |

I liked seeing Mo Williams take the initiative to take that 3 pointer in crunch time. He's got to have an assertive personality if he's gonna play next to LeBron.
Anyway, Celtics ball, Cavs down by 3 with 27 secs left. Gluck to Mr. James. |

Okay, here we go. 15.5 seconds left, Cavs down by three.
Do they play the hot hand (and the better shooter) and give it to Williams, or does the King take the initiative to send it to overtime? |

Hmm....I never liked this strategy. When you're facing a shooter like Ray Allen, you're basically just wasting time here.
Also, LeBron isn't that good of a free throw shooter. |

Yeah, I would've much rather had Mo Williams take the 3; have Varejao and Z screen high again and let James scrap for the potential rebound inside against the smaller players. They ran that play earlier and Mo hit nothing but net. |

Solid debut for Derrick Rose.
11 points, 9 assists, 3 steals. |

| My first impression of the Cavs is that Mo williams hasn't made any difference, but it's just one game...Hate the fact that the Celts won, but they played, well, like they did last year. We'll see down the line how much they'll mss Posey. As for the Bulls, great balanced attack and good stats for Rose, we'll see how he does as the season goes on. |

The Knicks are looking like title contenders...lol.
But, seriously, they look pretty good. But it's only 4 minutes into their season. |
