I got a quick question, hypothetically speaking, what would happen to the organization if after all these rumors, not one major deal was made, and we go into next season with pretty much the same unit??
Just wondering
L
(We'd probably have to burn the Staples Center down!!) LOL |

| well,..KObe would be pissed......Garnett would come to the lakers after he opts out,..at the young age of 32,..bynum would be allowed to mature and LO plays somewhat to his potential,....then in 09 kobe opts out so we are lfet with Garnett, Bynums 20/10 potential LO and farmar putting up bibby like numbers,.....then in 2010 we win a title,... |

| We all know Garnett is going to become a laker just like Lebron,......no matter what people say we all know they are destined to become Lakers,..plus remember Lebron can also opt out in 09 |

| well even if he doesn't opted out ,...I'll take that team,...The key is what we do this summer,...if we can pull of some trades and win a title next year,..that sets us up anither 3 peat.....08-garnett come in in 09, the sky is the limit,..that's why we gotta find a way to keep LO and Bynum. what do you think? |

| Imagine if the Front Office plays it right they can be building another laker Dynasty,...Kobe can retire with 6-7 ring,......if that does happened were does that put him in comparison to MJ |

| I would still watch cause, remember before the injuries this team was gonna be either the 4th or 5th seed on oace to win 52-55 games, If we avaid injuries and vlad can gain his 11ppg 35% from 3 pt and have luke and lamar we will win 50-55 games. |

everyone frogets that we have money to spend brian grants contract expires this year. That 11-15 million more. We trade bynum and brown with a second rounder to the pacers for J.O. and tinsley. Then we trade odom/mihm/vujaic the 19th pick and next years second rounder to kings for bibby and artest. Then we sign magloire and trade next years first rounder and turiaf for diop.
2007/2008 lineup for the Los Angeles Lakers
pg - Bibby/Tinsley/Farmar
Sg- Kobe
Sf- Artest/Walton
pf - Jermaine O'neal/Turiaf
C- Diop/ Maglorie
That is a **** western all star team it self... we automatically goin to da finals. If anyone has a better lineup e-mail me at uzzy92@aol.com |

Although Grant's contract comes off the books we are still over the cap if resign Luke, Mihm, Turiaf, and possibly Williams |

| right,....so our est bet is to stop with the pipe dreams of JO,.he is over payed and over hyped,...look at his stats shooting 43 percent for a power forward,...???? horrible..64 mil for the next three years,..plus Kobes 88. over four years,......trade for artest-kwame,...salaries alone match,...maybe include the secon rounders...resin mihm 10/10 solide before injury and bynym 10/7 in he stays out of foul trouble. 20/17 from the center spot for rouhly 5 million combined,.... |

Not so sure it's pipe. The Lakers and Pacers are in active trade talks as we speak. I don't really think salaries matter at this point. As long as you have trade pieces then use them. Buss has stated he will go over the luxury tax territory. So I say wait a couple years see what they can do and then trade them as an expiring contract when the time comes. |
