After I read that, I youtubed some highlight reels of him. Good god I forgot how goddamn quickly he was improving.

Defensive beast; offensive combination of finess and power; ability to wiggle his way in the interior to get easy baskets or catch a lob and dunk.

He runs the mile in the low 6s?!? Jesus christ man talk about getting back into shape. Doing that while getting bigger and stronger?! Good lord.

I will admit I yawned at all the "we are going to win the Finals with Bynum no matter what this year" chatter, but after watching some youtuve highlight reels, you can officially mark me as jacked for the season to start.

And as my posts indicate, I do not normally make irrational comments based on pure spur of the moment emotions on here, but goddamn I hope they give him the max and lock his big (not fat) a** up for long term.

Yeah, it looks too formal to have been written by a 20-year-old.

Who knows maybe Bynum can write really well. If it's on his website then either he wrote it or someone close to him wrote down what he wanted to say.

Kobe used to blog on his website, are you telling me that wasn't him?

I don't care who wrote it - this is all great stuff! I can't wait for this season to start - something tells me it's going to be magical - something really special.

What I mean is I think with Kobe knowing he just went to the finals and the team is coming back even stronger then last year with Drew being back and to all respect to Ronny, but I think Powell is a better backup at power forward. Plus, Luke will be healthy and I hope play better too. Ariza will get to play healthy and all year with the Lakers. Sun Yue seems to be an exciting prospect. Sasha got his nice contract and is poised to be a potent sixth man. Kobe got some peace in his competitive nature by winning the gold in China etc etc.

This is going to be a great season.

Byno definitely did not write that. I've been taking Honors English since i can remember and that definitely isn't Byno. He just told somebody his thoughts, and had them organized.

Ima head over to youtube right now and watch some of his highlights...CANT WAIT to see him develop some chemistry with Pau.

Harry: I agree with you. I actually tell my thoughts to my own English literature afficianado and he posts on here for me. Actually this is not me writing, it's my highly paid poster.

I'm pretty sure a professional didn't write it. There are a few noticeable errors. He either wrote it himself, or he had a buddy (non-professional, just a good writer) write it for him.

I don't think it's a big deal but what if he did write it? This happens all the time, people see their favourite athletes write a blog or something to their fans and automatically assume it wasn't them or got someone else to do it because their too busy. But an athlete can never be too busy for his/her fans...

well there is another way to settle this for sure, if bynum is honest.

If any fans have questions you can email them to me at questions@andrewbynum.com and I will answer as many as I can the next time I check in.

tell him the ltb board is having a debate if he writes his blogs or not see what answer you get

As for your statement an athlete can never be to busy for his fans, you would be suprised he will be working out, spending time with family and friends, doing work promoting the lakers, doing endorsements (if he has any sponsors) it can be a hectic life where getting someone to write your blog while he interviews you over the phone whilst your travelling is a nice way of getting the job done. Like i said if he does write it himself congrats its nice to see, if he doesnt no big deal he has his own life to live especially over the summer in his time off

Well I sent him an email lol. The chances of that getting replied are...not high lol.

This is what I sent:

Quote:
Hey Andrew my name is Jason Dodaro and I'm a member of Lakers Topbuzz (http://lakers.topbuzz.com/) and we're currently having a debate over whether or not you actually wrote that blog or if you got one of your mates to do it for you? Either way, it's still pretty cool that you're reaching out to your fans. If you get this email an answer would be great if you can take some time out of your hectic timetable to write a response.

Thanks,

I dont know why everybody is worrying about the lakers not making it to the finals, i think their gonna make a statement this season, and i guarantee the Lakers will win the championship. Some one should make the mix with the new song of the game called dope boys <---- this songs will hype every Laker fan for this season

Bynum graduated HS with a 3.4 and builds computer systems as a hobby. I think he can write his own blog just fine. He's a bright kid, plays chess, 'nuff said.

C'mon people, who can't write a blog like that? It's not like he used terse words in that blog, it was just a simple blog. Arenas does it and so do others, so why can't Bynum? To write a decent blog, you only need basic English grammar skills and i am confident Bynum has just that. You guys are making a big deal out of this blog.

On the flip side, i like the fact that Bynum is as motivated as ever to get back on the court and help the Lakers lead to a championship ring. Lets see if he can back up what he said. Actions certainly speak louder than words.

I can't believe people here are actually arguing whether Byno wrote the blog or not...The fact that it is on his website would suggest that whatever was written, is true, or at least, approved. It's not some hokey pokey tabloid or journalists interview to where it could have been taken out of context.

Does it really matter if it was written by Bynum??!

Its approved by him, and thats all that matters.

BTW, I like Bynum's statement!

I'm pretty sure Andrew wrote that. There are a couple of noticeable errors here and there. It doesn't take a freaking genious to be able to write a letter or an essay with some formal writing. It doesn't matter that he is 19 years old. I am 19, and I have some pretty good grammar skills even though I am not the smartest of people out there. Either way, I can't wait for the season to start!

When did everyone become English Composition 101 instructors? Why not respond to the message and not worry 'who' wrote it. Either way.. it would have had to have been approved by him so it is his message.

And if that is a professional write who did put that together, he needs to be fired.
