SportingNews: Speculation around the league, though, has Finley looking at league powers like the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics.
“There are other teams, championship-caliber teams that want Michael,” Thomas said.
“But he is not going to be in a hurry. If you know Michael, you know he is going to think about this very carefully and make the right decision for him and his family. He won a ring with San Antonio and he will never forget that. So, that will weigh into his decision.
”

Nah. Not necessary after the re-signing of Sasha.

id have him he can spread the floor at the 3 and he will add veteran experience to the young guns off the bench but id prefer bonzi, a second unit of bynum/gasol, odom, bonzi/finley, sasha and farmar looks damn good to me

Well, he might be looking around at teams, but, I don't think anybody is looking back at him! No Thanks for sure. Watched him a number of times last year with San Antonio - totally over the hill and should have already retired.

Maybe if we can sign him for the league minimum or something, definitely not MLE or anything.

Well now that we have Sasha back, we need not worry about scraping the bottom of the barrel for a FA.

he looked so washed up in the series against us, + we resigned Sasha, we should target a solid inside body....
plus Finlay hates sasha, he looked pissed when sasha took the last shot in the last game of the WCF. |

Finley, and Greg Oden, definitely did something funky about their real birth ages. He appears to be approching 50 and lately has been playing like that. I would sooner take James Worthy back. Or even Kareem if we are getting ready for an old timers game!

Why have we been rumored w/ all of the spurs scrubs (Barry, K. Thomas, Finley)....let me guess, we want Horry back too.

If we were to ship out Luke or Vlad then I would say yes, but we already have enough shooters and don't have an open roster spot

I don't think the Lakers need another shooting guard. We already have Kobe, Sasha and posible Coby Karl.
What I would like to see is a good power forward that can play defense. Or a small foreward that can play good defense. |
