Don't know if anyone caught the ESPY's last night, but Boston won Best Team, and when the whole team came up their to accept the award, Ray Allen spoke into the mic and said something like "Wow, another win in LA".....I was like "Yeah buddy, and that's yo last win in LA!" lol. Y'all should've seen Derek Fisher's face. He looked so serious. I bet he was the only Laker there.....Personally, I'm glad Ray said that...it just makes the rivalry for next year so much sweeter. I hope alot of the Lakers saw that comment....this is gonna be sweet lol |

| Whatever man, if you don't want him saying things like that then don't give up a 24 pt lead. When teams complained about the tacos thing at Staples JA Adande wrote that teams should just score 100 pts and not worry about it. If you don't want to get served don't get your a** kicked |

| Oh c'mon! His team DEMOLISHED the team from L.A. He has every right to rub it in (while he's still a champion). You can't expect everyone to be Tim Duncan. Kobe would've done the same thing if he was in his situation and I think you all know that. |

| Actually I DON'T think Kobe would do that. You wouldn't see him or Fisher or Gasol saying that on stage. I'm pretty sure of that. Call it biased, I don't care. But that's pretty damn insulting considering what happened in the series. They had some nice breaks in the early games.. and Ray knows it. The last game was a loss... one loss... one loss that looked really really bad and people just remember those clowns "demolishing" the Lakers. Sure they were very dramatic, clowning and running up the score when they knew it was already over. The complexion of the series would have been very different if it weren't for those initials games falling to Boston's lap. But I know, that's just being sore, right? That's fine, they can have their time in the spotlight. They better enjoy it because it won't happen again. We're taking it for years to come. Sometimes it's good to be a little biased when you're a Laker fan (=fanatic).. |

Thank you...thank you for saying this, c'mon guys...24-point lead...we could've had that 50/50 chance with us having a 3-2 lead in the series...c'mon guys, NO MORE EXCUSES, I HATE EXCUSES, ESPECIALLY COMING FROM THE TEAM WHO GOT THE STEAL OF THE CENTURY (actually...more than that, we got a steal in the Shaq trade, drafting Bynum, drafting Farmar-#26, drafting Sasha and Turiaf and Walton in the 2nd Round, getting Kobe for Divac, we're miracle center...game-wise and off-the-court/business-wise!)! |

I mean, I still see this as an over-reaction. All he said was "oh, another win in L.A.?" Or something of that ilk.
If he said something like "Well, this win was sure a hell of lot harder to get than that last win in L.A." - Then I would understand everyone's gripe. |

| It's not about excuse-making. It's lack of respect for the opponent. Show some class Ray.. it expect that junk from maybe Kendrick Perkins, not Ray Allen... mr. classy seasoned veteran. Of course I'm mad at our team for handing it to them. But they don't have to clown at this point. It's not provoked at all. Just enjoy it Ray. You won't get this lucky again. |

Yeah but it's just unbecoming to mention anything like that on stage, especially knowing how lucky he was. The look on Fisher says it all. |

| Good! I love this stuff! I always like to see one of our main opponents open up their yap and throw the Lakers into ridicule. Yes, our Lakers certainly laid down in Game 6 and deserve it for being such a bunch of "small female cats", but now, Ray Allen is giving us some ammunition to let the Lakers brood about all year, and I like that!!! |

Much ado about nothing. So he took a little poke at us and half the site is crying.
Too much sensitivity.
They kicked our a**. He had a little jab. Simple as that.
Hopefully we come back hungrier in our rematch next year. |

Uhmm... Technically Sasha was picked late 1st with the 27th(?)...
Drafting Bynum was the steal that I like. |

Dude, read my first post.....I was not complaining and crying, I was just acknowledging that moment and was wondering if anyone else saw it. That's all... |

Yo man.
Not addressed specifically toward you. Didn't even remember you started the thread. And yes I do realize what you said, which is why I didn't address that post to LAL2009.
Just addressing the general masses that are getting butt-hurt at this, which obviously does not include you.
Carry on. |

| Ray Allen should do a reality check and remember that besides this year, he couldn't even bring his team to the Finals. Get two more Allen and we'll talk. |
